She is not a parasite and not living in the land of delusion. She is gaining awareness of what is going on as she is observing. She doesn't want to take any action unless she is 100% sure and that is the smart thing to do. Karthik listens to no one and that is a given. He will do what he wants to do. She needs the ammunition to present her argument to Karthik/Goenka family and she will have that with the various scenarios that have and will take place. Naira herself said he should tell Vedika as they will meet in secret several times again. They will get caught together again. The decision to break her own marriage can't be taken lightly. She needs to prepare for the after effects of those actions. Her views before marriage, after Naira came back and now have changed a bit over time as her eyes are opening and she is processing all that she is seeing happening in front of her.
Naira attracts trouble and we will see that when Liza comes during the pooja and the affair is revealed causing havoc at Goenka villa. If Karthik hasn't told Vedika by then he is going to be in hot water too.
It appears Karthik is going to be hiring a lawyer soon so it will be interesting to see what this is for. Maybe it is to dissolve Karthik and Vedika's marriage.
