If Saman backed off, then Irtiza eventually wouldn't have pursued her. Oh well, it's okay we still know that Saba and Irtiza do end up together, amidst all the drama which occurs in between them. But still it was just a thought. It also could be Saba was too shocked and troubled to confess her love and therefore chickened out. Since one sided love always, leaves someone's heart broken.
The problem with Saba is that she had this thought in her mind since childhood that Irtiza is hers. Mainly because all Irtiza's attention was for Saba, he had spoiled her rotten and gave into every thing she ever asked. For her Irtiza was her sole possession and honestly I wouldn't blame Saba for this. It was Irtiza's behavior that made her think this. That bubble started bursting when Saman came into the picture. She just couldn't deal with the fact that Irtiza can pay attention to someone other than her. Last episode was all about this.. the difficulty of grasping the new reality. She tried punishing Saman but then realised her behavior was not right. She is not fully aware of the depth of Irtiza's feelings for Saman even now thats why she is planning to convey her feelings to him in the next episode but we all know what will happen next. Some serious heartbreak is on its way!
