"Kaagaz Ke Phool" / 1959 / Waheeda Rehman as Shanti as Paro enters the film studio - according to cinematographer VK Murthy, this was the most difficult part of the whole film to light up. The ray of light was not artificial, but real sunlight that was "caught on the roof of the studio by a large mirror and "directed to it's place through a small window with the help of a second large mirror on the catwalk. Murthy then used dust and smoke for better visibility.
