Verstaile Actor Khayyam Sarhadi Passes Away in Lahore
Lahore, Pakistan News :- Senior actor of film, TV, radio, stage and Presidential Award holder Khayyam Sarhadi died of heart attack during picturisation of a TV play in Lahore on Thursday. He was of 64. His funeral prayers will be offered at his residence in 406- DD, Defence Housing Authority after Juma prayer. Khayyam Sarhadi is the son of pre-partition film producer and lyricist Zia Sarhadi. The legend actor came back after getting the education of acting, direction and production from Greece. He started his career from theatre and later joined Radio but he got fame from number of TV plays like "Dehleez", "Reza Reza", "Waris", "Anokha Ladla", "Man Chale Ka Soda" and many other hit TV dramas. The actor also performed in three movies including "Mehak", "Dakoo" and "Bobby" but he left the film industry as he didn't liked filmy environment. The actor first married to television actress Atiya Sharaf and then with film actress Saiqa. The actor is survived by two widows and three daughters. His daughter Zille Sarhadi is an actress and model.
