For me both developed devotion in their own ways. Lakshman's lovable brother and Bharat's ruling on behalf of Ram away from the throne as a sanyasi earns respect. Hence, I would say for Lakshman is love and for Bharat's it is respect and admiration that comes in my mind when I think of this debate.
