I have noticed this, in romantic dramas, except for the leads all side characters are just shown to be horrible human beings. Both in this and Jaffaa, except for the leads, I dislike everyone, Sharjeenas parents, sister, in laws, brother in law. Just there mere presence makes me upset.

In contrast mann jogi, noor jahan, zard has amazing characters, so even if the mail lead is not on screen, I am still so intrigued.
