They need to treat actors and actresses equally. Mehwish deserves the flak absolutely but sending hate males to actresses and her husband is wrong. They should send their concerns to the writing team

Remember in yaariyan umair treated sadia in such a harsh way but audience wanted sadia to take him back especially after his apology scene.

If you don't think danish should take her back then why should have sadia taken umair back?

Is this hullaboo over mehwish and shehwar because of the overlap between the 2 relationships? If mehwish had ended things with danish before stepping onto shehwar's train, would that have been alright?

I'm completely against taking your husband/wife back after they cheat on you. Forgive them, yes. Choosing to forgive them is good for your soul, but taking them back is sheer stupidity. Danish shouldn't take Mehwish back, and Shahwar's wife should dump him too.

Umair and Sadia's situation was a bit more complicated. They were pushed into a marriage neither of them wanted. Neither one was invested in the relationship. And still, Umair didn't actually have an affair.

And in all honesty, yes, if Mehwish realised she no longer loves Danish and instead of having an affair came clean with him and asked for a divorce she wouldn't be such an awful person. She would be well within her rights to ask for a divorce in that situation. And obviously, there would be no return after the divorce anyway. She wouldn't be able to marry Danish again.

We can't compare mehwish with umair

Umair never cheated on Sadia behind her back. He didn't abandon her nor the child. That was a misunderstanding and when he got the DNA report he realised she was right and he was wrong. Mehwish is doing all on purpose and she wants to leave her husband and child for another man. She cheated on Danish and is full of shamefullness.

Also, this is probably an unpopular opinion but for all his virtues Danish is an incredibly weak character and shoulders some of the blame for the situation he's in.

Not speaking up for what's right, not taking a stand for yourself, etc. are not virtues and should not be admired.

I actually don't like any of the characters in this drama so far. Shahwar and Mehwish are just awful people, and Danish is pathetic. He's the male equivalent of all these hyper-annoying mazloom women we see in most dramas.

I liked his reaction in contrast to all the other egoistic chest beating gorilla husbands shown in other shows.
