Like I said, he's the male equivalent of the mazloom women in every other drama. The mazloom female is a pathetic character because she never takes a stand despite knowing she's being taken advantage of. Danish's character is exactly like that.

Chest-beating gorilla husbands are disgusting, but pushovers (be they husbands or wives) are extremely irritating. Neither is desirable. There's a middle ground, Danish can be a loving husband who worships the ground his wife walks on whilst taking a stand for his own rights. That doesn't mean lashing out, and being abusive. All it means is pulling back and having some self-respect, like 'I really love you, but you're clearly no longer invested in this relationship so I'll let you go', not begging her to stay when you know she's had an affair and doesn't want to stay, or saying 'shall I get you something to eat' after she insults you. Danish's mantra seems to be 'you can walk all over me, treat me like dirt, I'll happily deal as long as you don't leave me'. That is by definition, pathetic. And to top it all off he refers to the man his wife is having an affair with as 'saab'...

Faakhir from Khaas is an example of a loving, supportive husband, who also has a strong personality and self-respect.

Danish should not take back Mehwish ...She has commited Zina (worst of all sins ..and i think i read somewhere that punishment for this is worse if you commit Zina while being married)

He should not forgive her easily either ...same case Shawar and his wife

Yes. It is throwing by stones untill death or escape.but there have to be 4 witnesses. So if a guy knew that his wife committed that sin and has no proof he should divorce her and not come back , coz Allah forbid a man and a woman from marrying those who commit zina.😊

Yes. No forgiveness for such ppl coz they committed the worst of scenes and broke a family who will suffer because of their gunah .

Remember in yaariyan umair treated sadia in such a harsh way but audience wanted sadia to take him back especially after his apology scene.

If you don't think danish should take her back then why should have sadia taken umair back?

Is this hullaboo over mehwish and shehwar because of the overlap between the 2 relationships? If mehwish had ended things with danish before stepping onto shehwar's train, would that have been alright?

We already discussed this earlier...things have gone too far now and Mehwish doesnt deserve a happy ending at all...she can have all the money she wants but i want her to stay miserable

Yaariyan ki to baat hi mat karo usski to writer hi itni regressive thi

Also, this is probably an unpopular opinion but for all his virtues Danish is an incredibly weak character and shoulders some of the blame for the situation he's in.

Not speaking up for what's right, not taking a stand for yourself, etc. are not virtues and should not be admired.

I actually don't like any of the characters in this drama so far. Shahwar and Mehwish are just awful people, and Danish is pathetic. He's the male equivalent of all these hyper-annoying mazloom women we see in most dramas.

Thank you! Ive been saying this since the first episode...Pyaar tak to theek hai but i hate how Danish behaves like Mehwishs puppet. Koi self respect hi nahi hai iss aadmi mein.

Pehle din se hi Mehwish ko seedha rakha hota to Mehwish aisa galat kaam hi na karti

Husbands need to discipline their wives sometimes (not too harshly)...too much freedom can be bad

I think next mehwish is going to be in a live in relationship with shehwar. The show is getting too progressive for desi people. But I like it, I was tried of watching kitchen politics in dramas, saas bahu nand stuff.

I think so too. I was too obsessed with yaariyan to keep up with these two shows but I'm watching them now.
