You said it, actually I follow the original version here and there and I have problem with Samar's parents though they are hailed for their characterisations. Their children are all spoilt / irresponsible so they put the pressure on Samar (who is a better person compared to the rest). When Samar marries kasturi, they will throw the responsibility to her.

Samar wants to be a MLA and nothing wrong in it. Only thing is he helps people and uses that as publicity. The parents arent supportive and this is why he became shrewd.

I like Rajesh Samar friendship too. It's natural.

Seems like another woman's entry is on the way....Sakshi...😆

I feel terrible for Nilesh, missing his exam because he believed that woman who pretended to be in trouble and those pranksters beat him up.

This sort of injustice happens in real life too. Whoever tries to help a victim becomes a target for those who feel inconvenienced by the notion of right and wrong.

Nilesh has the courage of his convictions. In real life, people like Nilesh overcome adversities and go on to succeed.

Samar didn't change his clothes between pulling the wagon and celebrating Nānārāva's birthday.

The perspiration from his exertion had probably ripened with skin bacteria fermenting it into buttery-smelling butanedione by the time he sat down for lunch, still without changing his clothes as far as I could tell.

Only at almost 5:30 pm, Samar went to bathe and change into sovaḷe clothes for the Satya-Nārāyaṇa-pūjā.

After that, he changed into new jeans, shirt and vest to send off Kasturi.

Again, he changed into darker pants and a sweater to talk to Rajesh, who had also made a change of clothes.

What does it all mean?

they shot the sequences separately and didn't check while putting it together 🤣

Some lazy editing out there.

Something else done separately and supposed to fit together ...

Samar's neck, shoulders, and arms are dripping with supposed perspiration from his weightlifting workout, and yet his shirt is moving freely as he walks, not clinging to his torso at all.

Poor Rajesh! His phūlarāṇī Kasturi called him "Rajesh Dādā."

Samar could tell that his friend's "Kasturi Tāī" response was facetious.

What did Samar expect to prove with his petulant prank?

Samar, who relies on social media for publicity, has a chance to be on national TV thanks to Nānārāva. He needs Nānārāva's goodwill to get his name on a ticket for election. After Samar derails the interview, why would Nānārāva ever support him again?

Whether the journalist is the famous Raja Desai or unknown Sally Karnad, whether it's national TV or a local channel, it would be a step up for Samar. No one is going to embarrass Nānārāva just because he recommended Samar Kuber who didn't appreciate it. The victim of Samar's prank is Sally, who is just doing her job, and who will now look bad for interviewing a fake person.

Why would Kasturi go along with this prank? Her gratitude to Samar shouldn't mean that she's ready to be seen on TV deceiving a stranger! I thought her character was more street-smart than this!

I’m also not sure of the significant of the sequence. Maybe they want to show Samar has some pride in him too.

And him gifting Kasturi - the flower seller a bouquet is not that smart

Seems like Kasturi has developed some crush on Samar. That’s why she is not that street-smart when comes to Saheb 😆

Also though there are some inconsistencies in the costume, so far I find the episodes are gripping; in every episode there is something going-on.

Chali hawa maastaani 🤣

Istg these continuity issues make the show fall flat at times. Like.. where is the keen eye? Do they not watch the episode after it is done cut-pasting?

My comments about Samar's perspiration and changing clothes were only for fun.

I believe the producers and wardrobe team put a lot of thought into what the characters wear according to the sequence of events and time of day. Samar has one style as long as he's outdoors meeting voters, and he changes into a sweater to show us that he's relaxing at home. Rajesh also puts on fresh clothes in the evening. Samar should have changed before lunch - a smart politician would always keep a change of clothes in his car, just in case - but on the whole, it's not lazy editing or lazy production.

Even if a producer watches the episode and notices that the shirt doesn't cling, what can they do? Reshoot just for that, on a schedule of one episode per day?

I haven't watched the episode, so only replying on the basis of your comment. I've seen lots of shows have such continuity issues. Be it change of clothes, the jewelry/injury marks not matching, etc.

I know how long editing takes. They do have episode banks from where the cut paste can be done, hoping to see more continuity, that's all.

✌️

P.s. my comment was also on a lighter note.
