I feel this time kaveri should give a reply. Everytime being meek is not right also her trust in Raj has solidified now that she knows that he wants to treasure as much as her.

Though she should take the Rakhi and tie it to Aditya only cause Sanya taunted her for trapping married guys too.

Btw, Why is Raj so shocked at the prospect of getting a rakhi tied by Kaveri ??

She gets the guts due to RM keeping quiet every time....... treasuring relations is fine but she takes it too far. Taking insults from all and sundry is called being a door-mat. Earlier I used to wonder how she made a fortune by being so meek.

She did tell her off sternly a few times, but that was not enough.

And forcing Vaidehi to wake up early for raksha Bandhan and narali purnima.

Vai isn't rikam tekdi like Kaveri. Why the hell force someone to wake up early for no rhyme or reason?

As someone who works 9 to 5, i value sleep on a day off and can relate max to vaidehi.

loved Kaveri cutely nagging Vaidehi to wake up early on festival day. My mom nags me similarly. Vaidehi doesnt have any importance for these traditions, yet she wants to fake it to impress Ratnamala so that she can marry Raj. Which IMO is wrong. even if you dont know the traditions, it wont do you any harm to genuinely learn if you want to impress someone rather then faking it.

secondly, all these traditions are not some old outdated rituals. They are highly scientific in nature. As per traditions, our day starts at 5.30 and it is proven by science that early riser is always more alert and awake. So many of our traditional things are being picked up by western countries and they are using it successfully to improve their lifestyle. Some are even culturally misappropriating it to make it sound as their inventions.....things like Pranayam is called breathing exercise......Dhyan is cullturally appropriated to call biblical meditation.......There are billionaires whose major part of morning routine includes waking up early, doing workout and meditation. It helps them to remain calm through out the day and give their best to their work life. Vaidehi is a blind western civilization brat who wants to smoke and drink to show that she is cool but frowns at our own cultural heritage and treasure............ but in the long term she is harming her own health by smoking and drinking and will also not be able to give best to her business too.

Smoking and Drinking is bad for both genders, but its worse for the reproductive health of women... even when they are pregnant, hence Vaidehi is ruining her own health by blindly following western lifestyle.

I doubt even writers put that much thought.

Kaveri maybe right for herself. She is no one to force her thoughts down anyone's throat.

I don't know how it makes kaveri different from her grandmother who was doing her own thing in Vaidehi's house. Do it in your own space and stop troubling others.

The problem isn't what Kaveri is doing, it's her forcing her lifestyle and ideas down other people's throat.It's her constant dominance and rude tone.

Apan pan office la jato, even my boss doesn't talk like that on their worst day. Apla Kam Kara, vyavasthit Raha and nigha.

Also, alcohol and smoking is as much Indian as western. There are temples in Ujjain where alcohol is served to Kal Bhairav. Hash is quite popular in North, Benaras i think. Hookah is also popular in North, beedi as well.

All our tambaku, hookah etc is very Desi.

So maybe we stop thinking that all these " vices" according to Kaveri are of the western culture which she frowns upon. Some may attach it to popular beliefs and make it traditional here, but if we call wine, alcohol and cigarettes a vice there, it's the same here

just cause some people have tambaku and hookah in India. Doesnt make it right.........smoking is bad for all, esp for women cause of reproductive part.....simple as that....

As for Vaidehi, yes she is a western civilization's b**tard child.....nothing else..... upon that the woman is faking being traditional to impress RM, that part actually equates her to Sanya and her MIL in terms of thoughts process..... only thing remaining is her turning evil, that will also happen soon once Raj and Kaveri becomes a couple...

for all the annoying and rude talking, Kaveri is a honest person, showing her true self and not faking it for anyone......

Vaidehi, for all her pretence to impress RM and Raj, never faked her true behaviour. She has good intentions so far. Everyone does silly things to impress their love. She's not coming in anyone's way nor is she after Raj's money AFAIK.

I love that she was brave enough to give it back to Saniya's mum when she spoke crap about her and Raj.👏

Her white lies haven't harmed anyone.

She never meddled and put any substance in factory to spoil the reputation of mahercha chaha.

She never did a thing to harm mohite reputation by spreading fake stories about anyone, or her and Raj.

So, yes, that's not equating her with the bad guys of the show right?

And this thing about her reproductive organs being spoilt by drinking and smoking, i doubt writers even thought of it. She can always go for adoption or IVF. And we don't even KNOW if she wants a child in the first place. So let that be , i think.

And this thing about making western civilization the bad guy, remember no civilization is perfect. Comparing, thinking us vs them, "we're older so we're Better ",, " billionaires follow us so our civilization is better" attitude won't take anyone anywhere.

The ones who change with changing times , will sustain in the long run. Better have a good mix of western and something old school. Adaptability is the key.

That's what Ratnamala's philosophy is right? Though, she should also drop the old snakes from her life( Sudarshan, akanksha) and listen to her western vichar cha mulga Raj now hai na?

Satat parampara, sanskriti cha adaklela record vajavna real life made Kiti upyogi yeto aplya?

Right from the toothpaste we use in the morning to the internet we use to rant on, they've all come from West.
