The show Lakshmi Sadaiva Mangalam will soon be witnessing a new twist as actress Ketaki Chitale has been replaced by Prasiddhi Kishor for the role of Aboli.
Though Prasiddhi has put up a post on her social media profiles of playing this character, there has been no official announcement from the channel team yet.
TimesofIndia.com tried to get in touch with Ketaki to know the exact reason of her exit from Lakshmi Sadaiva Mangalam.
While exclusively talking to TimesofIndia.com, the actress made some shocking revelations related to the production house of the show. She said, "I just got a message on my WhatsApp on 25th March that I am not continuing with the role of Aboli and a replacement for this role has already been found.
When we asked about the exact reason behind her replacement, the actress mentioned that her Epilepsy was pointed out by the makers of the show. She said, "I am facing Epilepsy since I was 10 years old. It is a neurological problem in which a person gets seizures. I had clearly informed the production house before taking up the role.
"I had even told them that I need sleep for atleast an hour in between the shooting schedule. And they had agreed to it. But, due to my Epilepsy, Sangeeta Sarang, the producer of Lakshmi Sadaiva Mangalam, asked me a question which really disturbed me. She asked me, why I am continuing to work in the industry? she added.
Talking more about her terrible experience with the makers of the show, Ketaki said, "I was working till morning 4 AM on 23rd March. But no one informed me that it was my last day of shoot for the show. And suddenly, I get a message about my replacement after two days.
"If they would have questioned about my work or acting skills then I wouldn't have any problem. But, now I don't want to work with such inhuman people, who have replaced me inspite of being pre-informed about my Epilepsy problem, she said.
The actress has earlier played the lead roles in some of the popular shows like Tuzha Mazha Breakup, Ambat Goad and many more.
But according to her, this is the first bad experience she has faced in almost 9 years of her acting career.
She said, "During the shoot of my previous shows, I have never faced such bad experiences. I used to get seizures on those sets too. But, the makers of my former shows used to take care of me. Also, I was given proper breaks during the shoots.
The actress even said that she is currently unemployed as she was committed to the show till the month of May
