Hmm... thinking about it may be the dance (though it looked like Ahuja house in that scene). The save Priyanka drama happens in the morning (Ammu mentioned about breakfast in the precap) - they did drop a poolside bts of night, so that will come up before. So ... can be a dance to mark the 200th ep (in a way good... cause it can then be taken independent of the story perhaps).
Virat redemption is very essential, not only for Virat but also for Amruta as a character. She keeps saying that he broke her trust. You cannot forgive someone who broke your trust unless they give you ample evidence that they are reformed for good. And Virat, who is so keen on public apology from everyone, humiliated Amruta infront of the entire world. Once the truth is out, he has to apologize to both Amruta and Bhavani. And no, not when she is under the influence of drugs or sneakily when she is sleeping at midnight. It has to be a public apology to begin with and then the redemption track.
As audience, we wouldn't mind a fun filled, light hearted rom-com type story. Tbh, the lead pair does have good chemistry and their banter in the earlier episodes were fun to watch and do have good comic timings. I loved the interactions between the trio as well - Virat, Amruta and Shekhar.
But you can't convert the entire Ahuja clan into antagonists who scheme and plot against their own and portray the Chitnis as the underdogs in every situation, and still maintain the fun vibe of the show. They could have very well shown the cultural and class differences between the two families leading to awkward situations and slight misunderstanding. But with time they learn to understand each other's pov, the lead pair and the families as well.
Damn I can conjure a better story while typing for 2 minutes! And they call themselves "professional writers" 😡
What they are doing is confusing and distasteful. I dont know if it is Mukta's vision that is twisted or its the screenwriter's inability to bring that out on paper. Virat's anger in the mela eps and his concern yesterday dont go well at all. It makes no sense for me that Amruta is still around him - still confused (animal and the headlight analogy used before) and will be overrun again by one of the only two modes he has - anger or care (perhaps I should call it 'love').
While I do agree that the lead pair do have good deal of comfort with e/o (dont like the word chemistry)... many of the scenes have felt forced because of the background, and most of those scenes felt like the same animal-headlight thing. The brief moments where a reset button is pressed in Ammu's brains and she has to take time to process what is going on. It always felt odd - not because of the leads / the acting but the situation in which such scenes were brought in - there have been times I've gone 'haan... yeh kar lo pehle'. If this is the only experience of 'love' that Ammu is going to feel in her life... I feel bad for her!
Antagonists... well.. Priyanka gets added in now. And from one of the replies from the maker, 'Ammu will be fighting for her love'.
Some of the main plot points have been weird - Ammu going to meet Kavita at the mela w/o any provision made for any proof and Virat carrying her from her home to his washroom while she is asleep.... imagine these two scenes have long term consequences! How weird is that?
[Edit: But then this is probably the norm in itv shows and the show itself would've been off air by around 150 eps if not for Sriti. So the maker may even wonder what am I complaining about.]

It is the responsibility of the writers to carve out well thought characters. When writers cannot make up their mind as to what persona they want to assign to their characters, the result is the one that we currently see - pendulum characters. Characters being totally out of their defined characteristics zone. That's why we see a bipolar Virat and Amruta with Stockholm Syndrome, totally oppositeto what was established in earlier episodes😡
Once the characters are defined, you have to build the story around them. The story should have a logical flow, each incident or scenario giving rise or at least influencing the next, showing the interaction of these defined characters in these situations. That way an organic growth can be observed, both in the story and the individuals. This way any interaction, romantic or otherwise, will not feel force fitted. It will seamlessly fit into the story and will also help in story progression. But if you keep colliding your lead pair at every step and they will keep falling for a minute with a background score going tere naa tere naa...you feel like shouting, Ab bas bhi karo naa 😡
Ammu fighting for the non-existent love? Did she not answer Virat sarcastically the night they moved into their terrace, "pyaar hi to hoga naa aap se, itne mauke jo diye hain pyaar mein padne ke liye". Now after the mela kaand, what love can exist and in what universe! Amu should fight for her dignity and self respect. Period.
The plot points are weak, to the point of being non-existent. It seems like the entire story is now just a filler around the romantic moments of the leads. Just put on some music and show the leads in close proximity, that's the brief the writers are getting from the creators ig 😡
Just imagine, Kavita and Nimmi getting jealous of Amruta's fake abusive marriage. They are portraying women in such a wrong light, it's just difficult to digest. No sensible woman in any corner of the world will romanticize an abusive relationship. 😞

Priyanka Bachao Abhiyaan 😃
It will be mild reaction from ammu after maybe 1 strong reaction episode of "fiery dialogues" from ammu right after the expose. Handling of ckts are really poor here.
About the other serial i mentioned earlier, the male lead exploits the FL bcoz he also thought all girls are gold digger except his family ladies(another Virat), but his redemption journey was beautiful & realistic.. He goes through serious internal struggle after he realized what he did to the FL for his vain ego. The FL didnt shout nor challenged him but moved on and told him to stay away, everytime he came closer(they work at same office), she moves away(not twinkles in eyes like Amruta)..
After the FL told him to stay away and not to deal with her directly, it was the ML, on his own had his internal morality struggles, he started self reflections to make himself worthy to even deserve to ask for apology from her... There was no touching, no pulling closer nonsense.
There was no pity from FL but she was not b!tchy as well. She was pratical(apparently Ammu is too ) and her trauma was handled as well on how she came out of it through another situation that the ML had to go through to prove his innocence against SA allegation from another colleague. Very very well handled so far i have seen on ITV.
KMTMG could never.
That sounds so very good. Alas!
Definitely worth watching at least the 1st 100 episodes till ML redemption journey. The FL does eventually falls for him later but it was so believable, i mean i would too if i was her. Unlike Amruta giving weak knees vibe now itself before any redemption... ughhhhh

Katha Ankahee, right??
Probably because it is based on a Turkish drama and not an original one.
Have seen clips of it (katha....) and liked what I saw. It was also promoted as a show with the 'deal' theme... and going by reviews I've heard, handled well too. (Remake of Turkish show helps too.)
I dont think this phase of VA is what they initially planned either. If so, couldve promoted it so... and if handled well, could've worked too. Having the FL say in the first promo 'sona kyu? Heera kyu nahi?' and then to have this guy to be projected as the 'heera'🤪... one really has to be out of their minds.
