"Just watched today’s episode and I thought it was ok - didn’t find anything off with Amvira conversation by stairs. Yes many things need to be sorted out and hopefully will be. Right now the focus is on finding Nimmy for them as should be."
First up, they should've focused on Nimmi... and it really doesn't help they are clubbing this thing with the incident.
Bold: Yup, That's my main complaint. There are things that need to be sorted out, and not addressing these things doesn't help in accepting VA as a couple. Her being fine with what she calls now as 'past incidents' is really hard to digest.... and I'd say, something she will regret later - for if they stay true to character, having shown Virat do the mela thing, he has it in him to do it again... and avoiding / ignoring his 'past' deeds will only mean trouble for Amruta. If it is a long show, there is bound to be a separation too... and unlike separations in kkb, i will know Ammu asked for it.
There is this image of Ammu around Virat that is kind of stuck on my mind - around the Ganpati eps, both sthapana and visarjan - where she is constantly looking for Virat, hoping he will come for the function. And that isn't a pleasant image. He does arrive at the last moment - and perhaps we can say 'her love/faith brought him there'... may be he was 'too confused, too preoccupied, too depressed, and yet he came there so that should be appreciated'.
I find this image apt even with the kidnapping eps - after her hallucination she says 'i know Virat Sir, you will be looking for us everywhere right now'... and we see Virat is in his room hallucinating for the second time. And thats not pleasant thing to look at either. Yup... again in the end from her pov 'he saved her' and it may even be something she says she will be eternally grateful for... but having seen what he did the whole time... its not easy to overlook the disconnect.
When Ammu says 'you would've searched the whole city for me'... and he says yes... I've seen people who would admit 'I was too scared to do anything... I couldn't even try.. and I was crapping bricks.'. But him claiming "oh yes... of course", comes across as not genuine at all... or more correctly 'fake'.
