Injury/Availability: No injury concerns for the home team.
Tactics & Matchups: Skipper Hardik Pandya will prefer to bowl Jasprit Bumrah, the best bowler of the league, upfront given the explosive starts that SRH openers, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, have been providing. An early breakthrough will go a long way in restricting the visitors.
Probable XI: Ishan Kishan (wk), Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya (c), Naman Dhir, Tim David, Gerald Coetzee, Piyush Chawla, Jasprit Bumrah, Nuwan Thushara [Impact Substitute: Nehal Wadhera]
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Injury/Availability: All players are available for Pat Cummins.
Tactics & Matchups: With Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Pat Cummins, T Natarajan, Jaydev Unadkat and Marco Jansen all in fine form, the pace will be the main form of attack.
Probable XI: Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Anmolpreet Singh, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Nitish Reddy, Abdul Samad, Shahbaz Ahmed, Marco Jansen, Pat Cummins (c), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan [Impact Substitute: Jaydev Unadkat/Umran Malik]

Can MI win against this SRH?
It was close to the start of the season when these two teams played each other the last time, and Sunrisers Hyderabad shattered the ceiling of highest totals in the IPL. Mumbai's season hasn't got much better from that point. They're languishing in 10th place and are all but out of this tournament, while the Sunrisers are in a hotly contested race for the playoffs
Pitch report: Five games have been played here this season, 200 has been breached twice. Not a big ground, 61m and 66m square boundaries respectively, 72m down the ground. There's a nice layer of grass, it's a lot more consistent. Majority of the pitch looks nice and flat for batting apart from the full length area. The wicket looks rock hard with no moisture. Dew will probably play a part in the second innings. 200-plus total on the cards reckons Michael Clarke. We are in for some royal entertainment at the Wankhede tonight.
Speaking of SRH's bowlers, Natarajan has evolved from being a yorker specialist into a more versatile bowler who now has the on-pace and slower bouncers in his repertoire. Deivarayan Muthu interviewed him a couple of days ago where Natarajan talked about how he has found success on flat pitches, his new variations, and what it's like to be captained by Pat Cummins.
"Nice to see a write-up on SRH bowling. It's not been perfect but some of those conclusions based on Runs conceded/economy rates are a little misleading. And of course, special mention to Markande - he's gone for a few but picked up some timely wickets due to brave bowling. "
Vishal Dikshit pings this from the venue: Evening from the Wankhede. First the news on the big ones: Rohit Sharma, who was the Impact Player in MI's last game, has trained for two days in a row and looks good from the press box as he goes through his stretching routines, although there may not be any harm in again using him as an Impact Player, given MI's campaign and the T20 World Cup is around the corner. Bumrah missed the nets session yesterday, but he's out there today and sending down deliveries on the square pitch. But don't be surprised if he's rested today because....Anshul Kamboj has marked his run up along with Nuwan Thushara. Kamboj is a pace-bowling allrounder from Haryana and is yet to play in the IPL.
