The IPL caravan has setup shop at Delhi as the Capitals get set to host the Sunrisers. In what will be their first "home" game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the Capitals will come in looking to extend their winning run. After getting back on track with a win against Lucknow, the Capitals backed it up with a strong performance against Gujarat. A superb bowling performance saw them restrict the Titans to just 89 before chasing it down quite easily to move up to 6th on the points table. After starting slow, it seems like Delhi have warmed up and have just started to play some of their best cricket exactly when it matters. And tonight, they face a stiff challenge from the high-flying Sunrisers.

A 67m boundary on one side and a very short boundary at 59m on the other. The straight boundary is at 74m. You can expect a run-fest tonight. THis pitch looks completely different to what was served up last year. This is a pitch that'll suit the Delhi Capitals pacers. It has got a lot of grass, it's really hard, there's plenty of runs on offer and there will be a bit of carry as well. So, both batters and bowlers will like this. You're going to get hit with the small dimensions, but you'll have to stick to your strengths as a bowler. Dew could be a factor as well and the captain winning the toss should be bowling first, reckon Kevin Pietersen and Matthew Hayden, in their pitch report

Warner is only 85 to 90% fit. So, we will only know when they reveal the names of the playing 11 after toss.

Cheers..

Around fifteen minutes away from where some of the most mouthwatering kebabs (and nihari, kormas... you get the drift) in the world are being prepared as we speak, the stage is being set for another sizzling contest. And that's not just me hyping up the match. It's been a hot summer's day in Delhi. "Imagine being put in an oven," a friend remarked earlier in the day. And in this sweltering heat, Delhi Capitals will turn up at the Arun Jaitley Stadium for the first time in IPL 2024.

But their hopes of a perfect homecoming are threatened by a seemingly unstoppable Sunrisers Hyderabad batting line up. Twice this year, Sunrisers attained the highest score in the tournament's history. In their last game, they blazed 287 against RCB. Capitals in their last game bowled Gujarat Titans out for the lowest total this season. Two teams in the hunt for a top four finish - who will end on a high today? Find out with me, Abhimanyu, and Sreshth Shah as we bring you all the action from the capital.

Khaleel vs Head and Abhishek? Kuldeep vs Klaasen? What other factors will help shape this game? Have a quick read through our preview and find out!
