IPL 2024, SRH vs RCB Live Score, Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru: RCB, somehow, came to the decision that not retaining Chahal ahead of the IPL 2022 auction might be a good idea. They retained Virat Kohli ( ₹15 crore), Glenn Maxwell ( ₹11 crore), and Mohammed Siraj ( ₹7 crore) but listed Chahal for the auction despite the spinner taking 139 wickets for the franchise in 113 matches at an average of 22.03 and economy rate of 7.58. RCB's former director of cricket Mike Hesson has since stated that he will be frustrated about letting Chahal go throughout his career and maybe even after that. “It was one of those things where if you only retain three players, you give yourself an extra 4 crore in the auction. That potentially gave us the chance to get both Harshal and Yuzi,” he had said on Jio Cinema. He then said that they made a miscalculation during the auction which led to them not being able to buy back Chahal. And now RCB are bottom of the table.
IPL 2024, SRH vs RCB Live Score, Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru: Yuzvendra Chahal recently became the first player to take 200 wickets in the IPL. Nearly 70% of Chahal's wickets have come for RCB. And yet, here were are, RCB have a below par bowling attack and sitting bottom of the table while Chahal and Rajasthan Royals are sitting pretty at the top of the table.
IPL 2024, SRH vs RCB IPL Live Score: SRH this season have been a revelation. After years of struggles in the IPL, the Pat Cummins-led team has been one of the most entertaining sides in the league. With an ultra-aggressive approach like no other, SRH have breached the 250-run mark thrice in the season so far, triggering discussions over whether this IPL can potentially see a first-ever 300+ score. SRH will certainly back themselves to produce another big score - given they bat first - when they take on the RCB.

Stats that matter
- Virat Kohli scored 100 off 63 balls at this venue last season and has registered 50-plus scores in each of his last three T20 appearances here. Overall in T20s, he averages 59.20 at this venue.
- How can Sunrisers stop Kohli? Call Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He has dismissed Kohli four times in 15 meetings in T20s.
- Sunrisers batters have struck at 177.79 this season. This is the first time the combined strike rate of batters from a single team has breached the 170 mark in the IPL.
Thanks RJ 💚

The SRH vs RCB game will be played on the same pitch that hosted the opening game of IPL 2024 at this venue. It must be noted that SRH piled on a total of 277 for 3 while batting first against Mumbai Indians, who themselves managed a commendable 246 for 5. Fans can expect plenty of fireworks today.
