A recent study shows that athletes who due to sports or everyday activities have suffered from pain in the elbow or shoulder can get rid of their problems by using lighter weight training.
The study was presented at a meeting of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine in Keystone, Colorado, and showed that tennis elbow affects nearly three percent of the U.S. population. It is a false belief that only tennis players suffer from tennis elbow, but this is not the case. Although all of us "mortals" may experience tennis elbow if we are not careful.
Timothy F Tyler, assistant researcher at the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma in New York City says that the study indicates the fact that light weight training is an excellent tool to deal with tennis elbow.
