I saw them in the teej and Janmashtami celebrations, they were really fun yet not totally out of character (the show should introduce the same dynamics, they carry it so well). I guess the channel is trying to use that since other shows are either old and the audience is used to it or new and still getting into the groove. And of course, their 2+ works to further overwork them by promoting other shows.

Undoubtedly, Bhavika, Hitesh are good in these Mahasangams of shows& events...but the smooth flow of plot gets badly disrupted....Plus, why would audience forcefully watch the characters of alien shows whom they don't watch or don't even like seeing, it looks like forcefully shoving those unfamiliar characters down the throats of people. This is what audience dislike, "coaxing to watch". These mahasangams are okay, if it happens sometimes, but now it's happening very frequently, that it's brain-rot & annoying.

Star Plus events like Teej & RWSP & all are still good, but these Mahasangams are unbearable. In addition to that, overwork & overtime hampers the quality of the screenplay & show overall, becz Ghum makers will get an excuse of using body-doubles frequently...smiley24

I agree with your points, it's just lazy writing. They can't write a good script and keep remaking shows from other languages that too with the same plot, and when they have one or two hit couples who have made an impact on the audience they want to milk it until there's nothing left. Seriously, what's the point of this latest mahasangam? What will Savi-Rajat do there? The drama is already set in motion, none of the characters look good with each other (but chalo that's a matter of personal like / dislike), and everyone knows what's going to happen. It will only give them more work and waste an entire day, minimum, sitting at a shooting floor and doing dance etc that they could do at their own place in their own show.

In Ghum they don't give the two enough scenes to build their relationship irrespective of the plot, but here they are dragging them to this show and trying to trick the audience.

Back when ITV was at its peak, there weren't these many joint shows because they contribute nothing and overwork people, but nowadays this is fashion. It's just social media promotion tactics. Max there will be some reels / edits and no one will remember any of it. If the show could gather interest on its own, it would have done that.

These annoying Mahasangams are nothing but a ploy of channel, to milk out some popularity & TRPs from their already established & hit shows for their newly launched shows, so that new shows can establish themselves, it's a lazy & foolish marketing strategy of Channel to help these new bland shows boost ratings & gain audience of estd. shows at the cost of annoying viewers to no extent.
And, the collateral damage in all this gimmick is their hit shows & audience, whose ratings fall after each sangamsmiley36. How delusional & lazy this channel can be that, instead of focusing on storyline, acting other important elements in each of its shows, they're finding an easy way out to merge shows & make KHICHDI for their short-lived success. It would only confuse audience more & drive them away & also degrade quality of their shows & make it more distasteful....Only STORY & DRAMA can lead a show this far, even if it's a remake

Anyways, Ghum makers are allergic to Lead Couple's extended light-hearted scenes & romance, it's their trademark, so they aren't ever gonna give them ample of happy times together, Ghum audience & Lead couple fans would always remain deprived of it., it's a sorry plight, but true smiley36

It's just recent ITV nonsense where they want good ratings from minimum effort.

Sounds like Ghum makers have everything ready to give us what we want but they choose not to. I guess we have to accept that and enjoy what we get ― I like their scenes, when they put in the effort. I'm happy with this time pass
