Every role he's every done has just been a variation of himself. ADHM, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Tamasha, Animal, etc. Always a womanizer with massive daddy issues just like in real life.
Rishi lied both times (and put his son - and himself - in a bad light)...and yes, alcohol often loosens the tongue and mostly people tend to say some truths ... or they brag...Rishi unfortunately became a 'role model' in a quite negative way for a son who craved to get respected by his father.

ALL very popular 'Entertainers' have juggled some sort of misunderstood controversy. Sometimes their PR reps or family members unknowingly make situations worse rather than better. No one is above mistakes.
