Little boys go through this nightmare too. In places like Afghanistan it’s actually a thing. It’s called ‘bacha baazi’. Recently I came across a shocking article which was about how pregnant women are a fetish to some sickos. Basically, Human beings are sick. smiley11

Bhakshak is a tale just showing the tip of an iceberg of what is done to girls and boys in institutions that should care for them, not abuse them and make money out of them...

The second scene with the girl who is mentioned here is one of the most intense, imo.

That was so scary. I was so stressed out about her when she was frolicking around like she was having a walk in the park.

Honestly most indian orphanages aare terrible places of abuse for both boys and girls

Its used by owners to make money for themselves and those who work there

The secrecy of silence goes on hushing up any crime below carpet

also govt state govts as well as center ones give some money every month to kids in orhanage so they open orhanages for that money

most central jails are much better run than the orphanages run in india at atleast

Kids are made to sweep mop cook etc in orphanages and not given proper food

Its like a zoo where animals are starved by employees as most money got by zoo visitor is not used for animals at all

The poor kids grow up abused and ill treated and you can make out visiting orphanage how scared kids are to speak freely compared to if you go orphanage in west

In west too abuse takes place of kids but govt visits regularly and take strict action if anyone abuses etc any info got

Here no one cares for what happens to those orphan kids in orphanages because they have no family to fight for them

Also movie should be done on old age home abuse too because that also is like orphanage only where elderly are abused and because every elderly person gets them per month some money they open it not to take care of any aged. Many kids visit only once a year for few hours or never come only send money to old age homes. Many kids do not come funeral of parent too tell old age home to do funeral them, mselves atleast in big cities.

Honestly aged are not safe anywhere if they stay with kids sons and bahus hit and abuse them, if they stay alone danger of being attacked and tragetted by thieves is there and if they stay in old age home its like living hell 90% of old age homes. So its more worst plight than orphanages as orphanage kid can leave after 16 or 18th year but old age home till death they cannot go

It’s a harrowing watch, but such a well made film. Such a brave film! Everyone should watch it especially the good for nothing juornos of today. What’s more horrific is that it’s based on a true incident. What i liked about the film is also that the makers didn’t show revealing of the truth to be an impossible task. It just showed that if common man joins hands and drive courage from each other, such criminals can be punished duly. They did not show that struggle to reveal a crime is deadly.. it might be tough but it’s much possible. Which is a very good message. During the whole movie i just wished that they shouldn’t be showing any of Vaishali’s family or colleagues dying because of her risky reporting coz that’s counterproductive. And that’s what it ended up to be.
