Like I said in my teaser post, huge mistake giving Kajol the accent, great job casting Kriti, the usual dumb opposite twins is so blah (it kinda makes sense here though, coz one sis is dealing with trauma of losing their mom, and the other isnt allowed to process and be the "responsible one" which causes her to be more opposite of her sister) Shaheer was great, Kanika's second half curse from Phir aayi strikes back

Also, Kriti and Shaheer should do more toxic, villiany roles, they suit in Kanika's messed up characters roles, Like Tapsee, Vikrant, Sunny, but they should work with better writers(like Tapsee, Vikrant and Sunny)😮‍💨

Kajol was great in Tribhanga, but it's jarring now, and the accent, again, was a big mistake (like Anmol pointed)

Oh, I get what you mean! Totally agree—putting so much focus on Kajol was a choice that worked on one level but maybe took a bit away from the larger story arc. Kriti’s casting, though, was spot on; she really brought that needed freshness and contrast. The whole dynamic definitely shifted because of these casting decisions, which made the storyline feel unique but also a bit more character-focused than plot-driven.

I enjoyed the movie very much.

Kajol once more proves why she's such a beloved actress. I've never understood those who say she lacks versatility. I agree the accent was inconsistent, but everything else about her performance was on-point.

Kriti is splendid and I agree with reviews that this is her career best performance. Even without the hair and clothing changes, you can instantly tell the difference between her two characters based on body language and demeanor. I love twin thriller movies, but BW generally only uses twins for comedies so I'm glad we got a real thriller out of this film. Both of Kriti's double roles and Kajol's role are perfect balanced so this is definitely a 2 heroine film.

Shaheer Sheikh I was not familiar with but online people were raving about his casting so it seems he's very popular. And he does a great job with his negative role. His character is so hateful that I found myself gritting my teeth whenever he's onscreen because I wanted to see him get bashed up.

Tanvi Azmi is excellent as always. Was nice to see her reunited with Kajol since both were together in Dushman, which was also a twin movie for Kajol.

This and Thappad (which also features Tanvi Azmi) are probably the best BW movies made on domestic abuse, but it's more a focus here. There's one particular domestic abuse scene which was so hard to watch and I could barely get through it. There are also some lines and scenes that directly rebuke Animal and its notion that physical violence is part and parcel of love. The last scene was the perfect way to end the movie.

If trailer is the benchmark, this, at least for me, would cement Kirt'is position as a serious actor.
