Not feeling it. Mouni where she speaks was the best part surprisingly.
Ranbir Alia ki jagaah TV actors hi le lete.

Not a meme but someone caught this in the trailer

Trailer is OK. But whole story is revealed in the trailer itself.
The bad things:
The dialogues are too cringey.Ranbir's acting for the first time looks off in a movie. He seems to forget his acting roots after going in break for 5 years. The editing in the trailer is the worst and very badly made.Alia seems like will have a flowerpot role whose only job in the movie is to romance Ranbir. What a wastage of Alia's talent and acting if she is not having a major role in the movie. The acting of Alia and Ranbir is very bad.
The good things:
RanAlia are looking ok together in the trailer when I thought they will be a total misfit pair.Baki Mouni, Amitabh and Nagarjun characters looks good. The VFX looks good according to bollywood standard. We couldn't expect hollywood and south level VFX in a bollywood film naa.The storyline looks good and interesting since it is based on Indian mythology.Thik thak hai trailer but not that good I didn't got what I expected from the trailer but I loved the VFX, cinematography and storyline of the movie(since it has Indian mythological feel in it).I may watch it in theatre for the visual and 3D experience. Finally kuch alag dekhna ko mil raha hai Bollywood mein Indian mythology mixed with sci-fi and fantasy genre.Hope it will succeed so that humhe aise he movies dekhna ko milega bollywood mein nahi toh bollywood mein aise movies nahi aayega phirse if it flops.π
Yeah, special effects actually look cheap. They shouldn't be outdone. Was anything outdone in Bahubali? Just like too much plastic surgery. Too many special effects don't suit. No chemistry between the leads. Alia and Ranbir have given decent performances in the past. They both fall flat here. I liked the expression Mouni gave in her one scene. Is this contemporary mythology? Its own new genre? Cheesy, cheesy, cheesy! That does not mean it can not do well. It might. I have nothing to gain from it doing poorly. Just give a honest review! Audios folks!
I just want to say that I believe the trailer did a fantastic job of introducing the Astra-verse and showing that there's more to follow. Honestly, I am looking forward to the film. I genuinely hope it does well. The industry is in dire need of a good film, in my opinion (a film which would result in great box office returns). There's potential in the story lets see how well they've capitalised on it.
However, I'm highly unimpressed by the dialogues. π
P.S. Hmmmm, it'll release in 3D? Didn't know that. π
They told most of the story in the trailer, except how it ends. The VFX not a bad attempt, could have been better. Liked the VFX here better then in Baubali. Mouni and AB Sr, they stood out Ranbir was okay, can not tell much about Alia.
I.. guess I expected too much. I didn't feel the VFX like at all. Pretty surprisingly, only Mouni's dialogue made a little impact & for the 1st time, thought alia was bad. I generally feel she fits the roles & don't have any good or bad feelings while watching her.
Ranbir was.. well like usual?
No budget cannot be that less... π
KRK is idiot or not but budget cannot be that less, i wonot believe until i see some reliable source. Will wait for more time to see the actual figures...
Lol they won't reveal the actual budget anyway, everything else is speculation
