Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to dish the movie but promo looks terrible. People are going all ga ga over VFX, but for me it is one of the worst VFX that I have seen in years. Kya that woh ... all vibrant colors, fire and water....

And let the BULL from Babhubaali take a rest, KJo used in KALANK and now here. Just because you already have wireframe object don't use in every other movie.

Either make trailer with lot of anticipation or at least give enchanting premise of the story. Nothing was there. Neither was I enthralled nor got any idea what the movie was all about. It would have been better they just introduced the characters.

The script seems to be lame. Bad guys after brahmaastra, to form bhramastra all forces air, water, fire, soil, metal should come together ...

If that was theme why you want to bring in modern day story line ?

Why not stick or main plot ? Like Bahubaali or Avaatar ?

Mark my words, this would be biggest disaster, much bigger than KALANK & Prithiviraj. Big production houses are failing miserably be it YRF or Dharma just because they are trying to ape South and making movie which are NOT their forte. YRF are known for romantic musicals, there are still lot of such stories that needs to be told, but instead of investing in good script writer they are after SOUTH BOXOFFICE numbers and trying ape them.

Same goes for KJO, who has knack for romantic an family oriented movies, but no ..." I want to make next Bahubaali .... ...."

oh I didnt notice that, top of my head, yep the dubbed version was promoted more in telugu, vizag release etc, rajamouli and chiru name definetly so some curiosity and of course as norasm says nagarjuna

I am not complaining, I really like the trailer but Ranbir looks like Bunny from YJHD, I am not able to see Shiva in him

Mohit Raina as Lord Shiva in Devon Ke Dev was excellent

I think varun dhawan or vicky kaushal would have been a better choice in the current crop

Trailer was meh, very badly cut I did not understand the story at all.

You have the concept of Shiva, the 5 forces and everything was VFX.

Alia is terrible and she and Ranbir have no chemistry.

Ranbir reminds me of Bunny from YJHD.

AB sr voice was great though. Mouli was surprisingly good and so was Bachchan.

Nagarjuna again was meh.

The VFX was good in most parts but there was a miss here and there.

Compare this to 2.0, Baahubali, RRR and KGF where every bit of the trailer was overwhelming and atleast one dialogue stood out.

Bollywood has a long way to go to make epic movies.

You might have the best VFX but you will need a good emotional story for the audience to connect otherwise it is of no use.

That is where an Avatar and Baahubali score.
