Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Manish vows Abhira and Ruhi will not repeat Akshara and Arohi's fate

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira challenges Armaan about his choice to leave the house. Armaan responds, expressing that his life is a blessing from Vidya and decides to comply with her request. He acknowledges that without Vidya's support, no one would have accepted him, leading to his decision to leave the house alongside Abhira. Abhira pleads with Vidya to reconsider her stance, warning that Armaan may not survive without his family. However, Armaan takes Abhira from there.

In the room, Abhira earnestly requests Armaan to let her speak with Vidya. Armaan insists that they are leaving the house for good. Abhira protests, expressing that they cannot be separated from their family. He asserts that he is part of her family, but she counters that they all are and that he cannot make such decisions unilaterally, as she has a right to be involved.

Armaan reminds her that both Kaveri and Vidya are upset about their relationship. He questions if she really wants to remain in a home where everyone is unhappy and suggests that it would be unbearable for him to live with that tension. Overwhelmed with emotion, Armaan reveals his strong bond with Vidya, admitting that if she were to cut ties with him, he wouldn't be able to handle it. Ultimately, he decides to step back for the sake of Vidya's happiness. Abhira comforts him during this difficult moment.

Meanwhile, Sanjay manipulates Kaveri, encouraging her to release Armaan and Abhira. He asserts that Armaan would have left because of Abhira and suggests that Armaan can't see past her. Kaveri expresses her concern about her family's division. Sanjay argues that Abhira isn't a good match for them and pressures Kaveri to allow Armaan and Abhira to depart. He claims that Rohit and Ruhi are their true family.

Arman feels remorse for ruining Abhira's first night together and is conflicted about his feelings for both his family and her. As Abhira comforts him, he instructs her to gather her belongings. In another scene, Ruhi urges Rohit to stop Armaan and convinces him to speak to Vidya. She suspects that Rohit still harbours resentment towards Armaan, but Rohit insists he understands that Armaan loves only Abhira, though he fears upsetting Vidya further. Ruhi laments the impending separation of the family.

Abhira confronts Vidya, returning Armaan's cherished childhood memories. She reassures Vidya that her anger will subside, and she will come to miss Armaan. Meanwhile, Krisha, Aryan, Charu, and Kiara discuss the situation with Armaan and Abhira. Ruhi suggests their group should stand up for them. The next day, Manish gazes at the framed photo of Arohi and Akshara, reflecting on how time has brought them back to a similar crossroads, with two sisters in the same home once again. However, he reassures everyone that what happened between Arohi and Akshara will not occur with Abhira and Ruhi; it’s a promise from their grandfather. He believes that Ruhi will embrace Abhira, and that Vidya will come to accept her as well. He envisions a future where Abhira and Ruhi live happily together, united under one roof, completely unaware of the turmoil surrounding Armaan and Abhira as they prepare to leave the Poddar mansion.

As Armaan and Abhira say goodbye to the Poddars, they notice Kaveri's absence. The pandit informs the Poddars that he has been called to perform a last rite for someone, leaving them in shock.
