Ratan Tata no more: The Titan's pet dog 'Goa' attends last rites; sources reveal he has not eaten anything

Ratan Tata is no more. The chairman of the Tata Group left us last night. His absence will create a huge void in the world of business and Indian society. As we know, he was a huge dog lover. Stories of how his pets were truly pampered made their way into news every now and then. We are seeing visuals of his dog Goa at the last rites of Ratan Tata. A person told the press that he had not eaten anything since the morning. As we know, animals are perceptive and can gauge the mood. Everyone became super emotional seeing that video. 

It was a known fact that he never chased away stray dogs from the premises of his offices. Ratan Tata had pets Tito and Tango. In 2018, he skipped a felicitation ceremony organized by Prince Charles as one of his pets was unwell. When Prince Charles heard that he said that this is why he was what he was, and credited him as a true leader. Stray dogs are also allowed to enter Bombay House, which is the premises of the Tata Group. Animal welfare was something that was always close to his heart.

He is also the founder of a super specialized state of the art hospital for animals in Mumbai. He decided to open it after he realized that there is a shortage in India. Ratan Tata had to take his pet to the US for a joint replacement surgery. But when he reached there, the damage was irreversible so he took this step.
