Choreographer-actor Raghav Juyal has garnered significant attention for his performance in the film Kill, which premiered on July 5, 2024. The movie, which also features Lakshya, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, and Tanya Maniktala, has been making waves in the industry. In Kill, Raghav portrays the ruthless character Fani, showcasing a different side of his acting prowess.
Recently, in an interview with India Today, Raghav Juyal shared his thoughts on the ongoing nepotism debate in Bollywood. Reflecting on his journey as an "outsider," Raghav emphasized his struggle and determination to succeed in the industry. "I come from Dehradun, with no connection to the industry. I am not even signed by an agency and function completely solo. I can't be going into the complaining mode or else I would be stuck there," he explained.
Raghav highlighted that his focus has always been on continuous work, regardless of the outcome.
Drawing a parallel with sports players who persist despite failures, he expressed his desire to adopt a similar mindset in his career.
In the interview, Raghav urged the audience to watch Kill in theatres, especially those who criticize filmmakers for favoring star kids. He pointed out that producer Karan Johar, often accused of promoting nepotism, has supported two "newcomers" with this film. Raghav emphasized the importance of audience support for such ventures.
Regarding the film's success, Raghav shared that Kill has been performing well in theatres, driven by positive word-of-mouth. He described this achievement as a significant milestone for both him and his co-star Lakshya.
Kill is co-produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, and Achin Jain. Raghav Juyal's rise to fame began as a finalist on Zee TV's dance reality show Dance India Dance 3. He also participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. Some of his notable film appearances include Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Street Dancer 3D.
