Dhairya Karwa on ‘Gyaraah Gyaarah’s two era concept: “It’s a do or die situation and…..”

Dhairya Karwa who was last seen in the film ‘Apurva’ playing the love interest of Tara Sutaria and also recognised for his role in the film ‘Gehraiyaan’ with Deepika Padukone is now gearing up for his next show ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’. In a recent interview with India Forums, he shared his views on the show, its concept and how he feels will the audiences reception towards it. 

When asked, “Time plays a crucial role in 'Gyaarah Gyaarah'. How does the concept of time manipulation affect the characters and their decisions throughout the series”?

To this Dhairya answered, “The concept of time manipulation directly impacts the characters and their decision-making. Any exchange of information between the two eras has consequences—sometimes good, sometimes bad. This uncertainty keeps the stakes high, making it a do-or-die situation. This keeps the characters alert and the viewers engaged, always on the edge of their seats."

On talking about how ‘Gyarah Gyaarah' blends genres such as mystery and thriller and the show maintaining a balance between these elements and make it seem plausible, Dhairya adds, “Any good story has the right amount of mystery and thrill to keep you on the edge. The credit goes to Umesh sir and his writing team, consisting of Pooja and Sujoy. The story never gives too much away and never really slows down. There’s always one event after another, and just when you get one answer, another question arises. This keeps the audience engaged and curious, making 'Gyaarah Gyaarah' a joy to watch only on ZEE5."

On what the audiences will find most compelling about the intertwining storylines and character arcs in 'Gyaarah Gyaarah’, Dhairya exclaimed, “The most compelling aspect will be how the three characters are connected and how one event affects all of them directly or indirectly. The characters are so beautifully sketched out that the audience will be emotionally invested and attached to them. When your favorite character goes through certain events and experiences, the audience will go through the same journey and experiences as well."

The show also starring Raghav Juyal and Kritika Kamra with Dhairya Karwa will stream on 9th August on ZEE5.
