Actor Parvin Dabas had a scary car crash on September 21, landing him in the ICU. Thankfully, he was discharged on September 25, sharing how this experience shifted his outlook. He also mentioned how his older son Jaiveer mistakenly thought he had passed away due to a friend's text.

Parvin shared that he and his wife Preeti Jhangiani didn't inform their kids about the accident; they found out from friends instead. "My older son got a message from his friend saying, ‘Sorry to hear about your dad.’ And he thought I had passed away. Then, Preeti told them about the accident and my condition and calmed him down. The incident has helped me appreciate my life and family more," Dabas revealed to Bombay Times.

Parvin, the My Name Is Khan actor, also opened up about his wife's unwavering support during this challenging time, expressing, "Preeti has been a solid support. She has managed to deal with the situation well." Currently, doctors have advised Parvin to rest for a minimum of 10 days. He mentioned taking medication for vertigo and struggling to stand without feeling dizzy.

During the interview, Dabas recounted the terrifying event that unfolded at Hill Road as he was driving home from the Khar office at around 5 am. He mentioned being discovered unconscious by two boys who helped him to the sidewalk. They promptly called for an ambulance, and he was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital.

Parvin shared that because of the bright lights from the vehicle on the opposite side of the road, he couldn't see the divider and collided with it. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the dangers of driving with high beams on. "There have been many occasions when while driving with my wife, I have told her that such high beam can lead to accidents. That day, I was returning from work and wasn’t speeding, yet the accident happened," Dabas concluded.
