Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has always turned heads, and this year’s IIFA 2024 was no different. The actress arrived at the event with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, sparking conversations about her role as both a devoted mother and a celebrated actress. However, this appearance also drew attention to ongoing rumors about her marriage with Abhishek Bachchan, as the duo has been seen apart in recent events, including IIFA.
For weeks, rumors about a possible rift between Aishwarya and Abhishek have circulated, but the couple has remained silent. Their separate public appearances, such as Aishwarya and Aaradhya attending high-profile events without Abhishek, have added fuel to the speculation. Most recently, the mother-daughter duo was seen together at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding, where they posed for the cameras without the rest of the Bachchan family.
When asked at IIFA about her experience raising Aaradhya and being considered a "supermom," Aishwarya had a humble and thoughtful response. She said, “As a mother, you know what's best for your child. There's no manual or guide to follow. We are all just doing our best as human beings. You do what feels right for you and your daughter.” Her comment resonated with many, showing that she approaches motherhood with individuality and love rather than conforming to universal parenting standards.
At IIFA, Aishwarya was also asked about Aaradhya's constant presence by her side at events, to which she proudly responded, "She is my daughter. She is always with me," affirming their close bond.
Despite the personal rumors, Aishwarya continues to shine professionally. At IIFA 2024, she won the Best Actress (Tamil) award for her stellar performance in Ponniyin Selvan II, directed by Mani Ratnam. The film, which stars Vikram alongside her, has brought her multiple accolades, including the Critics Choice Best Actress award at SIIMA 2024. Aaradhya has accompanied her mother on several occasions, including the Paris Fashion Week 2024.
On the work front, Aishwarya has not signed any new projects since Ponniyin Selvan II, leaving fans eager for her next move in both her career and personal life.
