Preity Zinta, the owner of Punjab Kings and a new mother, has decided to skip the IPL auction in 2022 in order to spend more time with her twins this year.
However, this did not take away from her excitement. Prior to the IPL 2022 auction, the celebrity uploaded a cute selfie with one of her twin twins and showed her joy. As she prepared to watch the auction on TV, she joked about her baby replacing the red IPL auction paddle this year.
The actress is seen in a relaxed pose in the photo, holding her baby dearly to her before the event. She captioned the picture on her Instagram as,
"All set to watch the Tata IPL Auction tonight. Feels amazing to have a cute warm baby in my arms instead of the red auction paddle. On a serious note my heart is racing and I cannot wait for our new PBKS squad. All the best @punjabkingsipl. Let’s execute our plans and stay focused. #Tataiplauction #saddasquad @iplt20 #ting.”
Preity recently announced her decision to skip the IPL auction on social media, along with a statement explaining that she couldn't leave her twins Gia and Jai alone while travelling.
She stated that it won't be possible for her to attend the IPL Auction this year because of the inability to leave her little munchkins and fly to India.
Also her crew and the actress have been talking about the auction and cricket for the past few days. She wanted to reach out to her supporters and ask if they had any player ideas or suggestions for our new team.
In November 2021, the actress and her husband Gene Goodenough welcomed Gia and Jai into the world via surrogacy. Since then, she's been spending time with them. While Preity has yet to reveal the faces of her children to the public, her followers have been expressing their best wishes to the new parents
