Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again kept up its strong momentum at the box office on the second Monday, raking in around Rs 4.25 crore nett, even after crossing the 200 crore milestone. The movie's box office run stayed steady, particularly in Maharashtra and Gujarat, drawing large audiences during the festive season, which greatly boosted its initial 10-day run. Despite a minor drop, the film's performance in theaters remains impressive.
Sacnilk projects that Singham Again will pull in an extra Rs 3.50 crore on Tuesday, bringing its 12-day total to Rs 214.50 crore. The second week has contributed Rs 41.50 crore nett, and the week is expected to end around Rs 48 crore, reflecting a 70 percent decrease from week one, in line with genre norms.
As Singham Again enters its third week, it is poised to encounter new competition that could affect its earnings and reduce the likelihood of hitting the 250 crore milestone. Despite holding a Rs 6 crore edge over Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at present, this lead is shrinking daily, setting the stage for a close race between the two films in the final box office figures.
Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, the third installment in the Singham franchise, features Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. It is the fifth film in Rohit Shetty's ambitious cop universe, also populated by characters Veer Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar) and Sangram 'Simmba' Bhalerao (Ranveer Singh).
Both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 hit the theatres on Diwali and surprisingly the two have been doing exceptionally well at the box office ever since they were released.
In Singham Again, Ajay Devgn returns as DCP Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty's film. Kareena Kapoor plays his on-screen wife, Avni Kamat, who is kidnapped and rescued by Bajirao.
