Merchandising is a way to be in touch with your fans - Shantanu Maheshwari

Actor Shantanu Maheshwari who got immense appreciation for his performance in Channel V's Dil Dostii Dance, has a reason to be happy. Yes, Shantanu is the first TV actor to be selected as the Face of Merchandise products.

Sharing his excitement about the same, Shantanu says, "It feels great and awesome that people have selected me and I am the first TV celeb to become the face of a merchandise launch."

"The main reason, why I agreed for merchandising was it's a big opportunity and the first step to get connected to all the well wishers as it's because of them that what I am today. And this way it's my time to pay them back their love and they too will have to pay again for the same (smiles)," adds Shantanu.

"It gave me an opportunity to get connected to fans through merchandise products that we use on daily basis. There are many products namely T-shirts, posters, mobile covers, i-Pad covers, door hangers, pillow covers, bean bag which I found new and then there are UNO, batches, kitchens, mirrors and Compaq for girls and many more," he says speaking about the merchandise products which are the means to be in touch with fans.

We asked him about his favorite product and he avers, "I liked the Ludo game the most as one has to perform a task at each given point which is in the form of dance."

Lastly we asked him about his future plans and he says, "I will take up something which a blend of dance and acting. However, talks are on for the same."

"The way you have appreciated me and my work, I hope you like the merchandise products as well. You all can use different things and products depending on your choices," he signs off.

Well, Shantanu it's a sheer new way to be in touch with fans!
