Tragic news has hit the headlines: Aanvi Kamdar, a 27-year-old travel influencer from Mumbai, has died after falling into a gorge.
According to media reports, the influencer was filming an Instagram reel at Kumbhe Waterfall in Maharashtra's Raigad district when she tragically fell.
Aanvi had visited the location with seven friends. While shooting a video, she slipped and fell into a 300-foot gorge, according to an official from the Mangaon police station. Her friends immediately alerted the local authorities, who responded quickly with rescue teams.
After a six-hour operation, Aanvi was finally pulled out of the gorge. However, she had suffered severe injuries from the fall. Rescuers rushed her to the nearby Mangaon Taluka government hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
Aanvi, a chartered accountant, documented her travels on social media and had built a significant following. She shared her travel experiences and tips with her audience, inspiring many aspiring travellers.
