Bhushan Patiyal recalls playing lead in 'Aakhir Palaayan Kab Tak..?'; says, "film helped me earn recognition"

Actor Bhushan Patiyal recalls about his character Suraj, which he essayed in his debut film, 'Aakhir Palaayan Kab Tak..?' and shares about being keen to explore new genre in upcoming projects 

He said, "I played Suraj Sharma. The role was prominent and the story narrates how his younger brother was brutally murdered in the 2020 riots. Due to which, he and his family suffered mental trauma. Suraj suffers depression as he couldn't concentrate and keep remembering his brother's face. After a point of time he decides to join Indian Police. This may help him to overcome and seek justice, by helping innocent people to escape such riots and murders."

He continued, "Suraj couldn't forget his brother's death body. And coincidentally his first posting happened in Dehradun, and on the same night a murder takes place. He plans to investigate and the story moves on. It is a very promising and powerful role I always wanted to play. And by God Grace I enjoyed the opportunity in my debut film."

Bhushan says the movie helped him to explore different genre but he missed the romance. He added, "Though there is no love angle in this film. As I would decide not to marry and get my brother justice. The role is so intresting that if he's communicating with someone, he is thinking about his brother only. But I'm certain about my upcoming project, I might enjoy the missing genre. I would request my audience to watch the film as it is once again releasing on OTT platform and see how at times when we fall trap in difficult situations and seem to overcome is impossible but still we can deal with it."

Talking about his shooting experience, he shared, "It was an amazing experience to shoot. In my real life I enjoy solving mystery and whenever I'm free I keep reading such stories. So in a way creating and living such a role was a wish come true. The film helped me to earn recognition."

Aakhir Palaayan Kab Tak, produced by Sohani Kumari & Alka Choudhary was released on 16 February 2024. It also featured actors like Gaurav Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Chittaranjan Giri & Saurabh Agnihotri among others.
