Stree 2 Day 7 Box Office Collection: Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao Film Nears 300 Crore Milestone in India

Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, continues to perform strongly at the box office even after a week of its release. According to Sacnilk.com, this sequel to the 2018 hit Stree is steadily approaching the ₹300 crore mark.

On its seventh day, Stree 2 earned ₹16.5 crore in India, bringing the total to ₹271.85 crore. The film, released alongside Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa on Independence Day (August 15), had a remarkable opening. It garnered ₹51.8 crore on its first day, followed by ₹31.4 crore on the second day. The third day saw a collection of ₹43.85 crore, while the fourth day brought in ₹55.9 crore. On the fifth day, the film made ₹38.1 crore, and the sixth day added ₹25.8 crore to its total.

The film had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 26.25 percent on Wednesday.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 premiered on August 15. It stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana. The film, a direct sequel to Stree, follows Rajkummar's Vicky and his friends as they confront a new terror, a ghost with only a head called Sarkata.

Part of producer Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe, which includes Bhediya and Munjya, Stree 2 is also noted for Akshay Kumar's special appearance and Varun Dhawan's cameo.
