Popular Punjabi singer and rapper, Sidhu Moosewala was deeply cherished by his countless fans but tragically passed away. Following his untimely departure, his parents were blessed with a baby boy months later. Today, they shared the first glimpse of the child wearing a turban on Sidhu's official social media account.
Yesterday, on Sidhu Moosewala's Instagram account, his father and mother, Charan Kaur, shared the initial photograph of their newborn son, named Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu in honor of their late child. In a heartfelt caption written in Gurmukhi, they conveyed their thankfulness to the divine for blessing them with a new addition to their family.
Social media users were struck by the child’s resemblance to Sidhu. One user exclaimed, "Sidhu is Back," while another commented, "Sidhu MooseWala 2.0." A third individual shared, "My God! This is a remarkable thing." Punjabi singer and actor Jassie Gill reacted with evil-eye emojis on the picture.
Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, hailing from Moosa, Punjab, rose to fame through his significant impact on Punjabi music. His assassination created a profound loss in the industry, as fans grieved the tragic demise of the talented artist. Several months post his passing, his father, Balkaur Singh, shared on social media the joyous news of welcoming another baby boy into their family.
Months back, Sidhu's father posted a picture of their new baby alongside an image of his departed son. In the caption, he conveyed, "With the blessings of millions and crores of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shub's younger brother in our bag. With the blessings of God, the family is healthy and I am grateful to all the well-wishers for their immense love."
For those unaware, Sidhu Moosewala was tragically shot and killed by unknown attackers on May 29, 2022. There were reports indicating that the imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's group took credit for the 28-year-old's murder in an unconfirmed Facebook post. Bishnoi and his gang have also asserted responsibility for shooting at Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai.
