Liam Payne Tragic Death: Zayn Malik's Sisters Responds

Zayn Malik's sisters, Doniya and Waliyha, expressed their sadness over Liam Payne's passing. The One Direction member, who was part of the band with Zayn since its beginning, tragically passed away on Thursday, October 17. Liam died after falling from his hotel balcony in Argentina. While Zayn, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson have not yet commented on the situation, Zayn's sisters shared their feelings on their Instagram Stories.

Doniya Malik posted a photo of Liam, expressing, “Heartbroken,” accompanied by a broken heart emoji, and added, “RIP.” Waliyha Malik shared the same image, stating, “Literally heartbroken. I have no words (crying, sad and broken heart emojis).” She also uploaded a collection of pictures featuring Liam and Zayn.

Liam and Zayn had a tumultuous relationship. The two were brought together in One Direction by the X Factor team, along with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson. They subsequently formed the band One Direction. The boy band skyrocketed in popularity, breaking numerous records on music charts. However, Liam and Zayn often clashed. After the release of four albums, Zayn announced his departure from the group in March 2015.

Ultimately, in 2022, Liam Payne disclosed that there were "many reasons" for his dislike of Zayn. During an appearance on Logan Paul's "Impaulsive" podcast, he acknowledged having his own problems but also stated that he would "always be on [Malik’s] side" as well.
