Song Joong-ki and wife Katy Louise Saunders blessed with second child; informs fans about little princess

Song Joong-ki and his British wife Katy Louise Saunders are blessed with their second child, a baby girl. The Vincenzo star confirmed the news through a fan café event. He said they are blessed with a lovely little princess. Their son was born in June 2023. The actor’s statement said, “It's been over a year since I met my first child here. I'm incredibly grateful to announce that we've been blessed with another beautiful baby. Our lovely princess was born healthy, and both my wife and our baby are doing well and resting.” The actor divides his time between Korea and Rome, where his wife Katy Louise Saunders lives. 

Fans rejoice at good news

The actor’s agency High Zium Studio also confirmed the news through a short statement. It read, “Song Joong Ki welcomed a baby girl to the world today. He is thankful to everyone who is sending him congratulatory messages, please send him your blessings and lots of support.” In December 2022, he confirmed that he is a relationship with a foreigner. It seems he met Katy Louise Saunders when he was abroad for the shoot for Vincenzo. Song Joong-ki is one of the most popular Korean stars globally. His shows like Descendants of The Sun and Vincenzo enjoy cult status. His last series as main protagonist was Reborn Rich. He did a cameo in Queen Of Tears as well. 

Song Joong-ki was last seen in the Netflix movie, My Name Is Loh Kiwan. It was a story of a Korean man in Belgium. The emotional drama got mixed reviews. He will be seen next in Bogota: City of the Lost. It is about a Korean who builds a fortune in the Colombian city. He had refrained from commenting on his relationship for a long time. But when curiosity around Katy Louise Saunders baby bump grew in 2022, he confirmed that he was indeed in a relationship. They got married in January 2023 in a simple civil ceremony. 

He was earlier married to Song Hye-kyo who was his co-star from Descendants Of The Sun. They were adored globally as the Song-Song couple. But no one what went wrong that the star suddenly announced that he was separating from her. It broke hearts of fans all over.
