Seunghan exits RIIZE: Funeral wreaths sent to ex-member; social media is shock over vile Korean fans

RIIZE is one of the new Korean boybands that has seen a rise in global fan following. They have good vocals and all the members are quite good-looking. Around a year back, photos of Seunghan got leaked where he was seen smoking and kissing a girl, who was his girlfriend. As we know, Korean fans expect their idols to be perfect and preferably ones without any kind of relationship history. This created a huge stir. Not only there was drama around him smoking, but pics of him kissing his rumoured GF made fans very angry.

Because of this, SM Entertainment gave Seunghan a hiatus of ten months. He was brought back a few days ago, but it generated immense backlash for SM Entertainment. In what can be described as shocking, around 1000 funeral wreaths have been placed outside the office’s headquarters. In local terms, this means that people would rather see Seunghan dead than be a part of RIIZE. People are shocked seeing this reaction of K-Netz. They feel this is extreme bullying and seems downright evil. International fans said the pics of him seem to be of a normal teenager, and there is nothing so scandalous to be so bitter about. 

They have also called out SM Entertainment in the matter. As we know, Taeil, the former member of NCT is facing charges of quasi rape. It is alleged that he along with his two of his acquaintances sexually assaulted a foreign girl. They were armed and the victim had to give in. International fans are saying that there was hardly any outrage on that, but people have issues with Seunghan kissing and smoking.

People are calling out SM Entertainment for bowing down to such fans who are terrorizing an artist. They feel the firm should have straight up ignored this. Other fandoms too are in support of Seunghan. They feel such parasocial behavior should be called out.
