If telling Ruhi to stop coming to him and by not saying I'm always here for you helps her move on then that's what he should do especially since he keeps saying he cant marry her or give her anything she wants but he does want her to be happy.
If he keeps on blurring boundaries and leading her on then this will be an endless cycle.
Rn it looks like the rejecting any chance of them being together is just lip service but deep down he wants to be her person. Thats not fair or appropriate behavior.
He needs to pick a side.
Either man up and acknowledge Ruhi is his pyaar and Rohit is dead , therefore he will marry Ruhi. Abhira can handle herself and he can remain in her life from a distance as a mentor or financial supporter until she's financially independent. She does not need to be his wife. He promised Akshara to marry Abhira and not take care of her for only 1 year. So deal marriage whether its 1 year as he planned with Abhira or 6 months is already breaking that promise but ultimately he cant tie himself and Abhira into a marriage like this where he's still pining for his ex and she has no idea. So if he really wants to fulfil Aksharas promise he needs to be with Abhira lifelong as her husband and clearly he is not ready for that commitment forever, which is why he accepted Abhiras deal terms and now himself reinforces it. So he can stop pretending that 1 year of deal marriage is sacrosanct and is somehow keeping him from being with Ruhi.
