The most amazing thing is though that even if the family has hidden secrets and weird affairs, alot of them still protect their daughters by stopping them from entering the industry and getting them married off at an early age like Amithabh, Rishi etc has done. I now understand what Sonam Kapoor means when she says she doesn't have to 'work' because her life doesn't depend on it, whereas other newcomers have to do stuff to stay in the media and get work.
