Usually TV show forums remain active as long as people remain active there, for eg: posting discussion threads/ fan fics etc. We still have forums active and running for shows such as IPKKND, Geet etc.
For older shows where the forums are locked, you can make topics in the Hindi TV shows forum here:
https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/798
If it's webseries you can post in the Webseries forum:
https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/1197
As regards FFs, we don't allow self-insert fics or RPFs on IF. But you can post all other FFs in the FF forum.
Also, do explore our FF section that offers a lot of exciting features for authors.
I know about the fanfic forum rules. And as far as fics or fanfics are concerned, I always thought the writers of fics or fanfics are already in a sense injecting a bit of their own personalities into the characters in their works, though not knowingly or intentionally. Same when an actor plays a particular role. But not worry, I will not share my current Anamika Season 2 fanfic on this site. Or if I do share it, I will replace my character, which is a fictitious version of myself, with a completely different character. And I most certainly will not post a real person fic about Simran or any actor here.
As for the Hindi shows forum where old shows are discussed. Oh wow! I never knew such a forum even existed! Is that a new forum? Would it be okay for me to open a topic there about one particular character?
Yes, you are free to open a thread to discuss any character from any serial there, without violating IF COC rules.Originally posted by: skanthan

Why is there so much moderation on new forums which are ghost towns? Just because one forum had an outbreak of kalesh doesn’t mean the same will happen on every forum!
