Honestly, Jess, do you think we need to post more "bigots" as the ones who already post here?

Even with Twitter and Instagram, it needs some reflection about the what and why, I think.

i remember that twitter thread about RS's mother taking a dig at RK's mother and as usual, people were cackling over it and the proponents of should-not-have-unverified-threads were the ones trying to negate the veracity of that account being RS's mother's. Nobody, it seems, asked the mods for that account to be taken off as the thread still lurks. That is only one of the relative examples..

If the mom did it it’s funny. But we can’t criticize her for it but she can Celebrated for it 🤷‍♂️

What about registering at Reddit and join the comments there? - whoever likes it... I don't think that there is any need to drag baseless gossip into IF.

I don't think that - in today times - 'regular' media sites are better than Reddit or that one should trust tweets from verified accouts like Himesh & Co...still it's a fact that the Reddit-gossip site isn't a 'news-portal' but a space where whoever wants to claim whatever has a space to do so.

India Forums is - imo - not such a space.

Jess, actually, everything you post is y o u r choice...and it is up to us to agree to your choice or not. If you read something on reddit...well, you tell us that you read it there and what we think about...others did that, you can do that...but what kind of reporting is that??? What does it say about the messanger who repeats merely gossip-news without any verification...just to diss a certain actor/actress???

I am not sure that how much authentic news the trusted websites or journalists or media gives.....but if they provide information .....they can be called out for it......atleast these people will be scared for their reputation.......what are the anonymous people scared of?? Nothing........they don't have any inhibitions or responsibility.....they just post something nasty....we pick it up ....post it here and all hell breaks loose.......my point is to make it uniform for everyone...

Rules should be same for everyone......

No, I don't agree with that member... that person conveniently overlooks those who disagree with posted rumours...in Ranbir/Alia threads, too.

And over a twitter post.

The post on which the thread on IF shouldn't have been made

The post was not reported by the pseudo-neutrals and what-should-not-be-allowed proponents

One side was lashing out on her and rightfully so..

The other side was lauding her for being mean to RK's mother

And some agreeing to have only verified threads from other platforms to be allowed on IF were the ones defending the authenticity of that account instead of reporting it..smiley36

So the long and the short of the matter is-verify the threads that impeaches my favourites others can be the thread makers' discretion..

You posted one article from TimesNow (which was not even the Reddit threadsmiley36) and lo behold, all the hells broke loose..

Hence, people should stop selective preaching and selective outrage..

What is bad for gander should be bad for the goose too..

And yeah, I agree, the neutrality should be ensured. I don't mind getting my WL raised when I am at the wrong but I wonder if the other side is meted the same treatment because I don't see any change in the tone and tonality of threads being made or replies being churned...

black: I hope that you don't want to make me responsible for what other members do...adress them if you have a complaint about them...not make it sound as if I'm involved in that...

red: I hope that you won't yourself label as neutral...not after your string of posts in various threads...
