Ruhi is finally completely unmasked and this is the first time I like Charu 😂

I appreciate how you have written Armaan.

Beautiful writing!

Please continue.

Glad you liked it. It's an honor coming from you. I read your posts on X and you are one of them who keep me connected to yrkkh.

Part 7

As days passed, the Poddar family found themselves entangled in a web of complicated emotions. The once harmonious household now reverberated with the echoes of conflict and heartache. Despite their best efforts to maintain normalcy, the atmosphere was thick with tension, and the family threaded carefully around Rohith, who remained visibly distraught.

Rohith's demeanor was a stark contrast to his usually composed self. He became increasingly withdrawn, his focus consumed by the impending divorce proceedings. The legal battle with Ruhi loomed over him like a dark cloud, exacerbating his sense of betrayal and loss. Each interaction with his family was met with forced politeness as if they were walking on eggshells around him.

Despite their attempts to comfort Rohith, the family was uncertain about how to approach the situation. They made earnest but cautious attempts to pacify him, offering support in various ways—be it through comforting words, thoughtful gestures, or simply providing him space to process his emotions. Yet, every effort seemed to fall short, as Rohith's pain remained palpable.

Rumors of the divorce proceedings remained a well-guarded secret within the family. The details were shrouded in confidentiality, as Rohith's family chose to keep the matter private, not wanting to further disturb his already fragile state of mind. Discussions about Ruhi were avoided entirely, as her name had become synonymous with pain and betrayal. They were keenly aware of the need to respect Rohith’s privacy while navigating this difficult period.

Amidst the turmoil engulfing the Poddar household, Armaan found himself caught in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. The aftermath of the revelations about Ruhi, combined with Rohith's deteriorating state, created a complex and charged atmosphere. Armaan grappled with his own guilt and regret, particularly over how the situation had evolved and the pain it had caused both Rohith and Abhira.

Armaan's feelings were a tumultuous mix of sorrow and frustration. He felt a profound sense of responsibility for the mess that had unraveled. The weight of knowing that his actions had contributed to the family's current state weighed heavily on him. His once clear sense of right and wrong had become muddled, and he struggled to reconcile his past decisions with the present reality. Every interaction with Rohith was fraught with tension, their previously warm relationship now marked by an unspoken chasm. The discord between Armaan and Rohith was palpable. Each time they crossed paths, the air seemed to crackle with unspoken resentment and unresolved issues. Conversations between them were curt and strained, their interactions marked by careful avoidance of topics that might escalate their friction. The brothers' once easy camaraderie had given way to an awkward formality, a stark reminder of the unresolved conflict between them.

Despite the tension, the Chorus Gang sensed the underlying desire for reconciliation. They were acutely aware of the brothers' need to bridge the growing rift and sought to create an environment conducive to healing. The gang made deliberate and conscious efforts to bring Armaan and Rohith together, understanding that their fractured relationship was contributing to the overall discord in the household. They organized gatherings and casual meet-ups, aiming to foster a sense of normalcy and encourage open communication between the brothers. These efforts, though well-intentioned, often felt awkward and forced, as Armaan and Rohith struggled to navigate their complex emotions. The brothers both knew that a heart-to-heart discussion was essential, yet neither was sure how to initiate it. The fear of reopening old wounds or making things worse loomed large.

During one such gathering, the Chorus Gang tried to create a neutral ground for the brothers. The setting was casual, with everyone engaged in light-hearted conversation, but the underlying purpose was clear—to provide a safe space for Armaan and Rohith to address their issues. The evening unfolded with a mix of laughter and strained attempts at camaraderie, as the gang subtly encouraged Armaan and Rohith to interact more freely.

As the night wore on, Armaan and Rohith found themselves drawn into a corner of the room, away from the main activity. The quiet space was filled with an uncomfortable silence, each man acutely aware of the weight of the conversation they needed to have.

"Rohith," Armaan finally broke the silence, his voice tentative but earnest. "We need to talk. I know things have been difficult between us, and I want to address what's been happening."

Rohith looked at him, his expression a mix of weariness and resolve. "I agree. We've both been avoiding this, but we can't keep going like this."

The brothers began to speak, their words initially guarded but gradually becoming more open. They acknowledged their shared pain, the mistakes that had led to their current predicament, and the deep-seated hurt they had caused each other. It was a raw and difficult conversation, but it marked the beginning of a tentative attempt at understanding and reconciliation.

As they spoke, their cousins watched from a distance, hopeful that this honest exchange would pave the way for healing. The road ahead remained uncertain, but the first steps toward mending their relationship had been taken. Both Armaan and Rohith knew that the path to resolution would be challenging, but the effort to confront their issues head-on was a crucial move toward rebuilding the trust and connection they had once shared.

As the days continued to pass, Ruhi’s grief deepened into something darker and more consuming. Her heartache and the fallout from her actions had led her to a profound sense of betrayal and loss. The pain she felt was not only due to the dissolution of her marriage but also from the realization that her actions had irreparably damaged her relationships with the people she once cared about. This grief soon morphed into a burning desire for revenge and self-destruction.

Ruhi’s sense of betrayal and anger led her down a path of destructive choices. Her mind clouded with bitterness, became fixated on the idea of exacting revenge on those she felt had wronged her. She believed that if she could make the people around her suffer as much as she had, it would somehow validate her pain and provide a semblance of control over the chaos that had overtaken her life.

Her behavior became increasingly erratic. She isolated herself from everyone, avoiding the few friends and family members who had tried to reach out to her. Instead, she spent her days brooding over her perceived injustices, replaying the events in her mind, and fueling her resentment. Her nights were often sleepless, filled with restless thoughts of revenge. Ruhi’s once calm demeanor had given way to a darker, more vindictive side. In her solitude, Ruhi also engaged in reckless behavior, seeking out distractions that could numb her pain. She threw herself into social circles that only fueled her destructive tendencies. She began to drink heavily, attending parties and indulging in behavior that was increasingly self-sabotaging. Her actions were a cry for attention, a way to distract herself from the overwhelming grief and guilt that gnawed at her.

Ruhi's sense of revenge took a more concrete form when she began to involve herself in legal maneuvers that would further complicate her already tumultuous situation. She sought to drag out the divorce proceedings with aggressive tactics, hoping to inflict more emotional and financial strain on Rohith and Armaan. Her motivations were driven by a desperate need to feel powerful and to reclaim some semblance of control over her life.

In a bold move to further her agenda, Ruhi began to publicly accuse the Poddar family of abuse. She painted them as oppressive and manipulative, claiming they had driven away their elder daughter-in-law, Abhira, under false pretenses. By positioning herself as a victim of a toxic and abusive environment, Ruhi aimed to shift public perception and garner sympathy. Her strategy was to deflect attention from her own actions and to make it appear as though she was merely another casualty of the Poddar family's alleged mistreatment.

This tactic not only aimed to extend the legal battle but also sought to undermine the Poddar family's reputation and create additional obstacles for Rohith and Armaan. Ruhi’s accusations were a calculated attempt to exploit the family’s vulnerabilities and to exert control over the narrative surrounding her tumultuous situation.

As Ruhi’s behavior spiraled, her relationships with those around her became increasingly strained. The few people who had remained in her life began to distance themselves, unable to cope with her toxic presence. Her family, once a source of support, found themselves caught in the crossfire of her revenge and self-destruction. They watched helplessly as Ruhi's pain transformed into a destructive force, tearing apart whatever remained of her connections.

The contrast between Ruhi's downward spiral and the efforts of Armaan and Rohith to rebuild their relationship was stark. While Armaan and Rohith struggled to find common ground and heal their fractured bond, Ruhi's actions only served to deepen the chasm between them.

In her darkest moments, Ruhi would confront the mirror, staring at her reflection with a mix of loathing and sorrow. The person who stared back at her was a far cry from the hopeful and loving individual she once was. The reality of her situation, coupled with the irreversible damage she had caused, left her feeling trapped in a cycle of grief, revenge, and self-destruction.

Her journey through this painful period was a lonely one, marked by a growing awareness of the wreckage she had created. Yet, even as she spiraled further into her destructive path, a small, lingering part of her clung to a fragile hope that somehow, amidst the chaos, redemption might still be possible.

Author's note: I tried to concentrate on Armaan, Rohith, and Ruhi equally in this chapter. And I know that this part doesn't have any active dialogues/speeches from the characters. All the previous parts had drama that seemed never-ending. So I thought of shifting the focus to their internal emotions and revealing their character arcs for upcoming parts. Let me know your thoughts.

I couldn't come up with appropriate ideas for a conversation between Armaan and Rohith. I did not want to escalate their fight and hurt either of them further with the verbal abuse. I have already covered that in previous parts. That's the reason I smoothly upheld this conversation to get them to the common ground.

Its well written. However I fail to feel any pity or sympathy for Ruhi. I hope Armaan and Rohit do reconcile in due course.

I would like to read more about how Abhira is doing and for people to realize the maturity, large heartedness of Abhira despite being hurt and heartbroken and left with her head held high

Yay! Look who decided to post a double update.

Part 8

The Poddar family's reputation, once held in high regard, began to crumble under the weight of Ruhi's allegations. The accusations of abuse and manipulation spread like wildfire, creating a storm of public scrutiny and humiliation. Friends, colleagues, and neighbors who once respected the family now viewed them with suspicion and disdain.

The media frenzy surrounding the case added fuel to the fire. News outlets picked up Ruhi's claims, sensationalizing every detail to capture the public's attention. Headlines blared accusations against the Poddars, painting a picture of a family shrouded in darkness and deceit. Paparazzi hounded their every move, eager to catch a glimpse of the scandalized household.

The constant barrage of negative attention took a toll on every member of the family. Rohith, already struggling with his emotional turmoil, found himself at the center of a relentless media circus. Each day brought new articles and news segments dissecting his life, his marriage, and the alleged abuse. The public scrutiny exacerbated his sense of betrayal and loss, making it even harder for him to find any semblance of peace.

Armaan, too, felt the sting of public judgment. His efforts to support Rohith and maintain a sense of normalcy within the family were overshadowed by the accusations. He faced skepticism and hostility from those who once admired him, their trust eroded by the scandal. The weight of guilt and responsibility pressed down on him, as he struggled to protect his family from the relentless onslaught of public condemnation.

The tension between Rohith and Armaan, already palpable, grew even more strained under the public eye. Their every interaction was scrutinized and analyzed, adding pressure to their already fragile relationship. Despite the efforts of the Chorus Gang to foster reconciliation, the brothers found it increasingly difficult to navigate their complex emotions amidst the constant scrutiny.

As the legal battle dragged on, Ruhi's aggressive tactics only served to deepen the public's fascination with the case. She made bold claims about the Poddars' treatment of their elder daughter-in-law, Abhira, suggesting that the family had driven her away with their oppressive behavior. These allegations added a new layer of complexity to the situation, casting further doubt on the Poddars' integrity and character.

In a particularly chilling statement during a media interview, Ruhi passively suggested, "It’s been months since anyone has seen Abhira. I can't help but fear the worst. What if the family's abuse drove her to something drastic? What if she's... no longer with us?"

Her insinuation that Abhira might have met a tragic end because of the Poddars' alleged abuse sent shockwaves through the community. The implications were severe, turning the already intense public scrutiny into outright hostility. The idea that the family might be responsible for Abhira's disappearance or potential death added a dark and sinister layer to the scandal, further isolating the Poddars.

This new twist in the narrative fueled even more media coverage and public outrage. The Poddar family found themselves besieged not only by legal challenges but by a relentless wave of societal condemnation. Their lives were dissected in the public eye, every action and reaction scrutinized and judged.

One evening, after yet another exhausting day of dealing with the fallout from Ruhi's allegations, Armaan approached Rohith with a sense of urgency. "Rohith, we can't let her destroy us," he said, his voice filled with determination. "We need to stand together, now more than ever."

Rohith looked at him, his expression weary but resolute. "You're right. We've been letting this tear us apart. It's time we faced this together."

Within the household, the atmosphere grew increasingly oppressive. Rohith's despair deepened, his sense of guilt and helplessness magnified by the allegations against his family. He withdrew further into himself, struggling to cope with the enormity of the situation. Armaan, grappling with his feelings of responsibility and guilt, continued to struggle with maintaining a semblance of stability for the family's sake.

Even though Armaan knew Abhira was a strong individual, the constant plight about her well-being gnawed at him. He couldn't shake the fear that something terrible had happened to her. The weight of guilt pressed heavily on him, especially when he remembered the promise he had made to Abhira's mother to keep her safe. He had failed in that promise, and the thought tormented him day and night. Even now when she is away, she might be under constant pressure due to lurking rumors and false news that spread across because of the media.

Armaan's fear for Abhira's safety grew to the point where he could no longer stand idly by. He knew he had to take action. Driven by a desperate need to find her and alleviate his guilt, he decided to start searching for her. The decision marked a turning point for him, transforming his passive despair into active determination.

Armaan shared his plan with Rohith and Madhav, seeking their support. Rohith, despite his emotional turmoil, understood the importance of finding Abhira and readily agreed to help. Madhav, always the practical one, immediately started thinking of ways to aid in the search. Together, they formed a united front, determined to uncover the truth and bring Abhira back safely.

They began their search by tracing Abhira's last known whereabouts. Armaan poured over any information he could find, contacting friends, colleagues, and anyone who might have seen or heard from her in the past few months. Madhav, leveraging his connections, reached out to authorities and private investigators, hoping to gather any leads. Rohith focused on the technical aspects, scouring social media, and online platforms for any trace of Abhira.

In the chaos, Ruhi reveled in the power she felt she had regained. Her accusations had achieved their intended effect, turning the public against the Poddars and shifting the narrative in her favor. She used every opportunity to further vilify the family, painting herself as a victim of their alleged abuse. Her actions, however, were driven not by a desire for justice, but by a desperate need to assert control and validate her pain.

However, her victory was short-lived. Abhira, who had been staying in Kasauli, soon got wind of the happenings. She had first gone to Mussoorie to stay in her childhood home surrounded by the memories of her mother. But she knew she couldn't overstay there, fearing the Poddars might discover her whereabouts. Desperate to leave as soon as possible, she decided to move to Kasauli after finding a letter addressed to her mother from there.

The letter was from an old neighbor who claimed to have been friends with her parents, Akshara and Abhinav, when they resided in Kasauli. Seeking solace and a connection to her roots, Abhira made her way to the small town and stayed in the house that was once owned by Abhinav. She spent her days in quiet reflection, trying to heal from the heartbreak and turmoil she had endured. However, even in the tranquility of Kasauli, the shadows of her past loomed large.

In her solitude, Abhira meticulously avoided social interactions and social media after witnessing Ruhi's posts on the internet following her marriage with Armaan. Despite receiving numerous texts from Manisha Chachi, Madhav Papa, and Krish asking for her whereabouts, she refused to engage in any conversations. However, when the messages stopped for two months, she feared they might have moved on from her after she avoided them for so long. She couldn't guess that it was not the case; they had been dealing with the mess created by Ruhi post-Rohith's return.

The isolation Abhira had sought as a refuge now felt like a prison. The silence that once comforted her had become ominous. When the old neighbor showed her a newspaper with her picture and an article featuring Ruhi's statements, she was flabbergasted. She realized that her withdrawal had left her family vulnerable to Ruhi's schemes. The fear that her absence might have contributed to their suffering gnawed at her. She knew she couldn't stay hidden forever.

On the other side, the efforts of Armaan, Rohith, and Madhav to locate Abhira were relentless. Every clue, and every lead was meticulously followed, yet the search seemed to stretch endlessly. Armaan's mind was constantly plagued by the promise he had made to Abhira's mother, and he knew he couldn't rest until he found her.

Finally, one evening, Abhira could no longer ignore the weight of her responsibility. The fear that her absence had caused Poddar family further suffering drove her to make a decision. She couldn’t allow Ruhi's lies to destroy a family when her allegations were utterly false. She had always supported what was right. Even though the family had caused her some problems, they had always been kind to Ruhi. Staying silent would be as wrong as supporting the false claims. She would return to confront the situation head-on. She knew it would be difficult, facing public scrutiny and the inevitable questions, but she had to do it. With a heavy heart but a determined spirit, Abhira prepared to leave Kasauli.

Author's note: Finally a glimpse of Abhira's path as promised. As Rohith had returned in the show as well, I did not want to be influenced by the storyline there. I have envisioned this particular storyline and wanted to see where it goes, hence a double update. Let me know your thoughts.

No pity or sympathy for Ruhi, please. I never intended to show her in that light. If the part has portrayed those feelings, then I need to improve my writing and storytelling skills.smiley6

Thank you for double update!!!

I'm glad Abhira got time to reflect and recover a little bit. She's too righteous to let Ruhi get away with falsehoods. But i hope she will remain cut off from poddars after putting Ruhi in place.

Part 9

Abhira boarded the train to Udaipur, her heart heavy with a mix of anxiety and determination. The journey felt interminable as she grappled with the emotions swirling inside her. She knew that confronting the situation head-on was the only way to clear her family's name and put an end to Ruhi's deceit.

When she arrived in Udaipur, Abhira wasted no time. She reached out to a trusted journalist, Raghav, who had always been known for his integrity and commitment to the truth. She had met him twice when she was working as an intern. Abhira explained her situation and her need to tell her side of the story. Raghav, sensing the gravity of her plight, immediately agreed to help.

The following morning, Abhira found herself in the bustling newsroom of Udaipur's most respected news channel. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as she prepared to go live. Raghav assured her that he would handle the interview with sensitivity and fairness. As the cameras started rolling, Abhira took a deep breath and began to speak.

"Good evening. My name is Abhira Sharma, and I am here to set the record straight about the allegations against the Poddar family. I left Udaipur to seek some peace and clarity, not because of any physical abuse or mistreatment by Poddars. They provided shelter for me when I was left with no one after my mother's demise. I agree I have some personal issues with them but they were not heartless. My departure from Udaipur has nothing to do with them. Armaan Poddar and I have recently decided to part ways cordially. The accusations made by Ruhi are utterly false and baseless. The Poddars have always treated Ruhi with kindness and respect."

As Abhira recounted her story, the newsroom fell silent. She described her time in Mussoorie and Kasauli, her struggle to heal from personal heartbreak, and her realization that her absence had left the family vulnerable adding a complex layer to a simple case. She spoke with conviction, her voice unwavering, as she detailed the manipulation and deceit orchestrated by Ruhi.

"I cannot stand by and watch a family being torn apart by lies. I am glad that Rohith Poddar is safe and he has every right to decide what to do with his life, and I have always stood for what is right. Ruhi's allegations are a desperate attempt to seek attention and control. I urge everyone to look beyond the sensational headlines and see the truth."

The interview ended, and Abhira felt a wave of relief wash over her. She had done it. She had spoken her truth. Now, all she could do was hope that the public would listen.

As the news broadcast went live, the reaction was immediate. The Poddar family's friends, colleagues, and neighbors watched in shock and disbelief as Abhira's heartfelt plea unfolded on their screens. Social media buzzed with reactions, and the tide of public opinion began to turn.

People who had once viewed the Poddars with suspicion now expressed support and solidarity.Back at the Poddar household, The family watched the broadcast with bated breath. As Abhira's words reached them, they felt a profound sense of relief and gratitude. The truth was finally out, and their reputation was being restored.

Rohith was the first to react. "She's incredible. Abhira Bhabhi's courage and honesty have saved us."

Armaan nodded, a glimmer of hope returning to his eyes. "We owe her everything. I can't believe she came back for us."

Kaveri sat in her room, staring at the television as Abhira's interview unfolded on the screen. The room was dimly lit, the harsh reality of the past few months weighing heavily on her. Her emotions were a tangle of regret, guilt, and disbelief.

She had been one of the loudest voices against Abhira, convinced by Ruhi's manipulative stories and the so-called evidence that had seemed so convincing at the time. The hurtful accusations and the decision to oust Abhira from the house had seemed justified then, driven by the need to protect her family from the alleged threats. But now, watching Abhira's brave and earnest explanation, Kaveri felt the full weight of her misjudgment.

Abhira had always been a kind and respectful presence in their home, despite the personal conflicts and misunderstandings that had arisen. Kaveri remembered how Abhira had been there for her during difficult times, offering support and compassion. Yet, when the scandal broke, Kaveri had allowed her hatred to cloud her judgment, making decisions based on incomplete and distorted truths.

The interview revealed Abhira's side of the story with a clarity that had been missing before. Her honesty about the personal challenges she had faced and the true nature of her relationship with the Poddars was striking. It was evident that Ruhi's accusations were nothing but a desperate ploy to manipulate and gain control, and Kaveri had been an unwitting accomplice in the chaos.

As the interview concluded, Kaveri felt a deep sense of shame. She had played a part in tearing apart the life of a woman who had been nothing but dignified and courageous. The realization that her actions had contributed to the family's suffering and the public humiliation they had endured stung painfully.

Kaveri's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps. Her son, Madhav, entered the room, his face marked by a mixture of fatigue and relief. Seeing the somber look on Kaveri's face, he asked, "Maa sa, are you okay?"

Kaveri looked up at him, tears welling in her eyes. "Madhav, I've made a terrible mistake. I didn't see the truth before. Abhira... she was always so kind and honest. I let my anger and the lies cloud my judgment. I should never have treated her the way I did."

Madhav's expression softened, though his eyes still held a glint of disappointment. "Maa sa, I tried to tell you. Abhira always had a good heart. I supported her because I knew she was being wronged, but it's hard to see you now struggling with this."

Kaveri nodded, her voice trembling. "I understand. I just wish I had listened to you and not let my judgment dictate my actions. Abhira came back for us when we needed her the most, and I was so quick to judge her."

Madhav placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's not too late to make amends. We need to find a way to apologize and show Abhira that we're truly sorry for what happened. She deserves that much."

Kaveri wiped her tears and took a deep breath. "You're right. We need to make things right. We owe her that, and more."

As they both looked toward the television, the reality of the situation settled in. The road to redemption would be long, but Kaveri knew she had to start by acknowledging her mistakes and seeking forgiveness.

Ruhi sat in her opulent living room, her mind racing as she watched Abhira's interview on the television. The shock on her face was evident, her mouth slightly open as she struggled to process the unfolding revelations.

Her plan had seemed foolproof: the accusations against the Poddar family were supposed to solidify her position and manipulate the situation to her advantage. She had anticipated that Abhira's departure would be a convenient shield, allowing her to leverage the chaos for her gain. But as she watched Abhira's composed and heartfelt confession, the ground seemed to shift beneath her.

Abhira's detailed account of the truth, her explanation of the personal challenges she had faced, and the clear exposure of Ruhi's manipulative tactics were far from what Ruhi had expected. The public's reaction was turning in favor of the Poddars, and Ruhi's deceitful actions were being laid bare. The tide of sympathy and support that Abhira was garnering only amplified Ruhi's sense of dread.

Ruhi's hands clenched into fists as she replayed Abhira's words in her mind. The realization that her carefully crafted lies were unraveling so rapidly was overwhelming. She had hoped to use Abhira's absence to fuel her narrative, but now it seemed that her deceit was being exposed with a clarity she hadn't anticipated.

In a desperate attempt to regain control, Ruhi reached for her phone, her fingers trembling as she dialed her lawyer's number. Her mind raced with thoughts of damage control and strategies to salvage her crumbling position. The idea of facing the backlash, not only from the public but also from those she had manipulated, was almost too much to bear.

As she waited for her lawyer to answer, Ruhi's heart pounded with a mix of anxiety and frustration. The world she had meticulously constructed was collapsing, and the fallout from Abhira's courageous stance was something she had not prepared for. She knew that the next steps would be crucial in either salvaging what was left of her credibility or sinking further into the mire of public disgrace. But the lawyer seemed to be unreachable.

Ruhi's frustration reached a boiling point as she drove through the winding streets of Udaipur. The weight of the news broadcast and the unraveling of her plan clouded her judgment, and her anger and desperation took over. Her mind was consumed with thoughts of how Abhira's interview had turned everything against her, and she failed to notice the growing intensity of her reckless driving.

As she sped through the city, her driving became erratic. The once-calm roads were now a blur of colors and shapes as Ruhi's focus shifted entirely to her mounting anxiety. In a moment of heightened frustration, she veered sharply, losing control of her vehicle.

The car skidded off the road and crashed into a parked rickshaw, sending it violently spinning. The impact jolted two elderly pedestrians, Mr. and Mrs. Singh, who were crossing the street nearby. They were thrown to the ground, injured, and disoriented from the collision.

Witnesses rushed to the scene, and the chaos of the accident quickly drew attention. Emergency services arrived promptly, but the damage had already been done. Mr. Singh, an elderly man in his late seventies, sustained a broken leg and several bruises. Mrs. Singh, in her mid-sixties, suffered a concussion and various cuts and bruises. Both were quickly taken to the hospital, where they received urgent medical care.

Ruhi, still in shock from the accident, sat in her car, dazed and unable to process the gravity of what had just occurred. She barely registered the arrival of the police and paramedics, her mind swirling with the aftermath of her reckless actions. Her hands shook uncontrollably as she was escorted from the scene, her frustration now replaced with a profound sense of guilt and regret.

The news of the accident spread quickly through Udaipur, adding a new layer to Ruhi's growing list of troubles. The injured elderly couple's condition was a topic of concern and sympathy among the community, further intensifying the backlash against Ruhi. The accident, coupled with her already damaged reputation, was now a significant blow to her already crumbling image.

Author's note:

Here is the next chapter. The idea of involving Ruhi in an accident is recent (obviously inspired by the show). This fanfic has started in an attempt to see Ruhi suffering in all possible ways. No offense to Ruhi supporters though! As I have already mentioned I haven't watched previous generations, and I have no attachment to Ruhi or Geonkas's whatsoever. And characters in this generation are unbearable as per my judgment. So I am utilizing whatever opportunity I get to make Ruhi face the consequences of her actions in my fanfic world.

Now Now....please don't come to me and tell Armaan is victimized. He had been suffering since his childhood whereas Ruhi had lived a privileged life to date. I agree she had some abandonment issues but venting it out Abhira is wrong. Armaan though mistreated her, he time and again apologized but Ruhi was always whitewashed.

[ I have never said Ruhi had an easy life as a child but she was privileged. She was protected from the truth by her family. But Armaan was constantly rebuked for being an outsider. Ruhi had lost her family: True. But how? She was the cause of her mother's death. I would even agree that as a child that was a mere mistake that had major consequences. Coming to Armaan he was and is still getting blamed/not accepted for being an outsider. But Ruhi had a loving family with her. I also never said Armaan abusing Abhira can be ruled out with his child trauma excuse. I mentioned that if he had abused, he also realized and apologized: which is not the case with Ruhi.]

I have already mentioned that this is my opinion and you are free to avoid that if you disagree.

I am not even a Ruhi empath because I truly detest what they have made of her, but it's so insensitive to say that Ruhi hasn't seen a difficult childhood when she has literally seen her whole entire family die. She is NOT the one with an easy childhood at all. Blame her all for her adult deeds but do that without saying that she unlike Armaan has not seen a difficult childhood. She is definitely not facing any consequences of her actions in the show which is annoying because not only is she given a free pass but also being portrayed as some selfless person, which she is absolutely not. But if her "abandonment issues" aren't an excuse, Armaan's trauma isn't an excuse either to put Abhira through the same abuse.

Excellent chapter. Lovely to see Ruhi get her due.
