Don't you know she was in Thackeray movie? She played the role of Nawaz's wife but she had a small screen presence though..

nepotism or she never break through??
I mean some of the biggest female actors of her time were all outsiders.

She could give more effort from her side too but we cannot deny the fact that she didn't get the roles on platter like the nepo kids get these days..🥱

But should we not compare her to heroines from that time and not the star kids of today?

nepo kids have been getting roles in their platter since neither of us were born tbh.
So I don't get these nepotism debate in this case.
I mean Priyanka, Vidya, Deepika, Anushka, Kangana were all from that era, so it is not like outsiders all failed during that time.

Fully agree with you here.
Even Salman Khan was never content with doing love-making scenes in his movies yet so popular, only Ek Tha Tiger would be an exception for him but he did nothing explicit there either.

what happened in ETT?

it was as clean as kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi..i am really scratching my head here..what scene are you talking about?😕

it is shown he and Katrina were about to kiss, but never happens.
Or she kisses him on the cheeks.

Kiyu wasn't clean compared to Sallu movies 😆 tbh, Bhai movies are more clean than Ekta daily soaps😆

I mean the intensity is greater to some extent during these era. And definitely Nepotism is an ancient topic in Bollywood nevertheless. Plus if you notice my earlier reply carefully, already I have stated that Amrita could have given more efforts. Hence she's a reason of her own failure too, nevertheless.

I should perhaps make a correction on "these days" into "always".
