untrue.. A movie cannot belong to a single person.. It belongs to a whole team.. If the rest of the team had not connected with the audience, irrespective of how spectacular Madz was, the movie would not have acquired the status that it did

Obviously, films are products of collaboration. However, what viewers pay attention to most are the lead actors. Barjatya knows what he's talking about and it's not like he doesn't adore Salman.

The success of the movie can be attributed to Madz.. The movie on the other hand cannot belong to her

Pure semantics. Barjatya chose to phrase it the way he phrased it so there's that And I would actually argue the opposite. Actingwise Madhuri was out of this world in HAHK. The success of the film could easily be attributed to Mads, but also to Salman, to the supporting cast, to the songs, etc. All those elements contributed to an extremely charming movie.

I am not a big fan of HAHK so cannot comment on what worked for the movie

LOL What is this nonsense? How can one honestly say her acting was terrible in Dedh Ishqiya, Devdas, Mrityu Dand Tezaab, Pukar, Anjaam, Beta, Parinda, Prahaar, Khal Nayak, Hum Apke, 100 Days, Dil? And what is this inane fashion to diminish an actress because she's a fantastic dancer? Classical Indian dance has always been about acting, too.

Whatever. Carry on.

This is your opinion. My opinion is she's a terrible actress. She was a superstar and a good dancer but not a good actress. This is my opinion. HAHK is a terrible movie and this is also my opinion. Just because it's the biggest success ever doesn't make it a good movie.

Being good in classical Indian dance doesn't make you a good actress. Hema Malini is another example of good classical dancing but terrible actress.
