Hahaha, classic silly whataboutism has started as expected. 🤣 What about this country? What about that country? What about this? What about that? Anything and everything not to face problems or take any responsibility. Nothing can ever be said about anything because there are problems elsewhere too. The Soviet Union will be so proud of how effective they've made these propaganda tactics.
A little bit of sense will tell you why India's rape problem is considered much more disgusting than elsewhere. In countries like the US, rape actually gets reported! In India, most of the time it goes ignored due to the culture of shame around it. Half the time the police themselves don't want to file reports.Reported Rapes and Actual Rapes are two totally different things. Most of the reported rapes are also date rapes in most of the Western countries. They are not about strangers jumping on top of each other and grabbing women off the street. It's not about 6 month old babies being raped. It's not about inserting rods in their vaginas and doing other unspeakable brutalities. And it's not about gang rapes either. Just the level of violence associated with rapes in India along with the fear of reporting them is what makes India a rape capital in the way the western countries aren't.Another mega difference is that people actually face the rape problem in the US instead of whining and moaning and pointing fingers at other countries and other issues with endless chants of "What about this? What about that?"

Yup, higher number of rapes are reported (even a wife/lover can report, if any time she changes her mind after consenting... ). Definition of rape here is different...

Blaming the whole country or blaming whole religion never was, never is and never will be a smart thing to do.
Calling India a rape nation, will only make people angry and instead of looking the real issue which tackling the sexual crimes, people will start fighting each other because one group dragged the whole nation, while other group instead of ignoring will do stupid or say stupid.
Constant humilation of Islam religion and Islam followers is the reason why many youths.are recurited everh year by terrorists organisation. People need to learn and understand this simple thing.
Never blame someone or something innocent for the bad deeds of some people.
It is not Islam's fault that some monsters use its name to justify their tactics, it is not Hinduism's fault because few idiots justify killing of human being in the name of gauraksakh, it is not Christanity's fault some perverts make wrong use of their power and rape small kids.
It is understandable that the rapes whether one case or lakhs, is shameful for the society as a whole. And maybe we are responsible somewhere as girls are still suppressed and some men take advantage of that. But when you start blaming a group, you are blaming their belief, and beliefs are rarely wrong. Thier contexts changes but their original motive behind believe are positive most the do.
Blaming the whole nation will only take the anger from real topic, to a trivial tit for
tat between people of the same country.
I understand India is not perfect, us Indian are definitely far from it. But please don't trivialise a serious issue inserting a political angle. Their are many in the same country who have sacrified their lifes for the social services, their are many who are working every day without proper food, sleep and rest, for taking the country to glory. And their are many such example. This self hating act of promoting India as a rape nation in media, especially in foreign nations, will eventually lead to almost every Indian getting tuanted, bullied and so on.
This very thought of humilating a whole nation or community or group thinking it will bring change is a very stupid idea.
This turns even innocent people voilent and political leaders take advantage.
The problem people have with the likes of Swara and so on, is not that they are protesting against the actual crimes, they are just acting like opposition political party. The "lets attack Hinduism/India while being a Hindu/India my self" is the new cool among people. Constructive criticism is fair, but attention seeking BS always leads to more unrest in social media and eventually the public.
People make stupid choices when they are constantly blamed for some thing they never did.
Calling India a rapist country, Islam a religion of terror and so on will only take the issue to wrong direction.
