CHAPTER 9
Flashback Continues
After that he cuts the call and goes to get ready. after an hour he was standing in front of a small house. he ring the bell and after some seconds the door get open.
he smiles at her and says"hi riya,kaise ho?"

Riya was shocked seeing arjun in front of her house, she never thought that arjun will find her here but who is she kidding its ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte in front of her, nothing is impossible for him actually he makes impossible possible and possible impossible. She does not know how to react, she still remember whatever happened between them that day and frankly speaking she has been avoiding arjun since then and now the man in question is standing in front of her house.
Arjun was in no better condition, he knows very well that whatever happened between them that day was just physical attraction but after she left he always felt that someone very close to him has left him and go and he felt himself alone after she left, he does not know that he should call that feeling love or not but he is sure about something that there is definitely something strong between them and they believe it or not they know that there is more to it, its not going to end so soon and that they both know it very well
Riya wanted to escape from this but knowing that the man in front of her she know that she does not have any choice apart from welcoming him"sir aap yaha"
"Riya mujhe tum se kuch baat karni hai toh kya main andar aasaktha houn"

after that she goes into the kitchen and arjun just stays there quietly, he decides to take look at the house and after sometime riya comes with tea and some snacks.
they sit in silence for sometimes after which arjun decides to break the silence
"er riya tumme yaad pichli baar jab hum mille the tumme mujhse kaha tha ke tumme kuch illegal kaamo ke bareme pata chala hai aur tumme shak hai ke commissioner in sab mein involve hai"
"ha aur mujhe pura yakeen hai ke commissioner isme shamil hai"
"mujhe tum par pura bharosa hai riya kyunki tumse baat karne ke baat maine apne team se baat ki, toh unlogon ne investigate kiya hai aur humme bohut leads milli hai jo directly commissioner ke taraf point kar rahe hai, lekin hamare paas koi pakka sabouth nahi hai, we need stronger links, isliye mujhe laga ke tum hamare help kar sakte hai, toh tumme kya lagta hai"
"pata nahi sir, mujhe bhi bohut sare leads milli hai par koi strong links nahi hai lekin agar aap chahe toh aap ek baar check karligye chayad aapke kuch madad aasake"
"ok sure"
"great main apni laptop lekal aai houn"

after that riya brings her laptop, arjun starts looking in her notes and discussing about it and after sometimes they got a name salim, arjun understand it immediately. remembers having seen this name in some drugs report, this case was given to ETF and just before they arrest every evidence, witnesses and even salim disappeared and only the commissioner knew about it and now arjun was sure that it commissioner did it and now salim was involve in this racket
He immediately called sameer and tells him"hello sam, arjun bolraha houn, sun main riya se milne aaya houn, aur uske notes se mujhe ek naam pata chala hai, salim, uske bareme pata karo"
"arjun salim ye toh wahin hai na joh gayab hagaya tha uss drugs case mein"
" ha ye wahin hai, woh iss racket mein shamil hai, aur tumme pata hai usse gayab commissioner ne kiya tha kyunki woh hi ek insan hai jo report ke bareme pata tha kash humme pehle hi uske bareme pata chala tha"
"ha yaar tu sahi kehrahe hai, main dekhta houn, tum fikar mat karna"
"acha kuch aur pata chala"
"nahin yaar kuch bhi nahin chayad isse kuch mil jaye"
"thik hai yaar, main tumse batmein baat karta houn"
"thik hai yaar waise bhi mujhe kuch aam hai"
"kaisa kaam"
"woh ayesha..."
"samaj gaya, bye"
"bye"
after finishing talking to sameer, arjun turn around to riya and found her looking at him intensely"what"
"kuch nahi"
"riya mujhe tumse kuch baat karni thi uss din ke bareme"
"arjun sir mujhe iske bareme baat nahi karni hai, aapka kaam hogaya to chake jaya yahan se"
"riya ek baat batao, uss din hamare beech jo kuch bhi hua tum usse ignore karna chate ho"
"ha kyunki it was just attraction nothing else, please chale jaye yahan se"
arjun gets angry on her and grab her arm and pulls her harshly
"aah arjun sir aap mujhe hurt kar rahe hai"
"main tumme hurt kar raha hun aur tum kya kar rahe ho riya, tum mujhe hurt nahi kar rahe ho"
after hearing this riya looks in his eyes and sees something in it which she could not read, but she control himself and says"arjun sir chodiye mujhe, mujhe dard haraha hai"
arjun comes to his sense and leave her, he was about to apologize but riya opens the door and tells him to go away, he leaves without saying a word and with a heavy heart, he feels like crying, he gets in his car and drove away, riya close the door and lean on it, she let the tears roll down her eyes while arjun reach his lodge and he also cries his heart out. they both were heart broken.

somewhere else in mumbai, sameer was standing in front of a big and luxurious house. he looks at the name plate which reads RAWTE MANSION.
