As promised, here is the review of first half of 2011.
So far 6 months of 2011 have already passed, and here we review some of the best the year has given us so far.
Please note only the dramas that have ended in the first half of 2011 are included in it. Terrestrial dramas are not included.
1)
On number one is everyone's favorite Saniya Saeed. An actor who does not need any recognition, and whose work speak for itself.
She out shined everyone by her lovely portrayal of Tazeen in Lamha Lamha Zindagi playing the lovely sister, the revengeful cousin, and the love in distress. The actress used her eyes to speak in most of her scenes, and left everyone watching in awe. She was the scene stealer of the show.
Her variety can be seen on PTVs currently on-air show "Ao Kahani Buntay Hain" too.

Making it to the list is Sawera Nadeem whom many are already calling a veteran thanks to her great acting talent. The actor who has been in business for a very long time now got a chance to play Ayesha in the superhit Qaid-e-Tanhai, and with her face full of emotion left everyone mesmerized.
The actor was also seen in a different role in Mera Saaein , proving his versatility.
3)
Ayesha Khan ends up at number 3. The actor who has done more serials than most of her contemporaries so far makes it to the list due to her great performance in shows like ZIP, Paarsa, Lamha Lamha Zindagi .
Fans are already calling 2011 her year. She was seen in different colors in all of her serials, and can currently be seen in Tum Ho Keh Chup in an entirely different character. Well her fans have reasons to rejoice.

Not too far behind is everyone's favorite, Aamina Sheikh who outperformed herself in dramas like Uraan, and Mera Saeein where she under played her part beautifully. She deserves all points for her dedication to her work. The actor who is known for serious role is currently seen in Ek Hatheli Pay Hina, Ek Hatheli Pay Lahoo, and Umm-e-Kulsoom.
2011 also saw her play a very different, and unique role in "Main Abdul Qadir Hoon".

Mona Liza who is known more for her good looks than her acting talent, took up this very hatke show on A-Plus to prove all her critics wrong, and boy did she do that. Looking attractive in a non glamorous role she proved herself. It's said that any actor worth her salt would do anything to do that kind of role.
The actress who has said no to television, and is more interested in films now can be seen in Anokhi playing a seductress to the T.

Sanam Baloch who is still basking in on the glory of her hit shows like Doraha, and Dastaan, and doesn't forget to mention them in her interviews was seen in a role in the Chemistry - the show that failed to create any hype. The actor also performed in ARY's Zindagi Dhoop Tum Ghana Saaya, and was criticized heavily for her make up.
She is seen in Akbari Asghari these days on HUM TV.
