Episode 4 (#MissionCancelVeeratMarriage)
The episode starts at Brar mansion, Angad-Sahiba’s room
Sahiba, “Look Angad, it’s not that I don’t trust Daarji and Bebe’s decision but you know what, I’m really worried for my sister, Keerat. She is quite young and wants to achieve a lot of things in her life. In that case, will Veer be the right partner for her?” Angad’s mind was stimulated with Sahiba’s words.
Scene shifts to Public Park
Veer narrates his past ignorant of the fact that someone is videographing him, “A few years ago, when I was a struggling singer in the industry; all my songs were getting rejected and I was reaching nowhere in my career. At that time, Daarji and Papaji wanted me to drop music and join family business as they felt music would take me nowhere. No-one in my family acknowledged my struggles and pain because the other two Brar sons, Angad and Garry had already made a mark in their lives. Angad paaji took the family business to greater heights and Garry was making a decent income as an intern in India’s topmost fashion institute. My constant failures and family expectations distressed me a lot that I went into a depression. At that time, one of my friends and a co-lyricist of many of my songs, Sasha, introduced me into drugs. At first, I was reluctant but when she assured that they will take away all my pain and troubles, I unwittingly fell prey into the world of drugs. To date, none of my family members are aware of my inclination towards drugs and I want to keep it a secret to them always because they wouldn’t be able to handle the truth.” Keerat, “Then how come you trusted me and disclosed your secret to me?” Veer turns towards her and says, “Because I do not want you or any girl to have a miserable life by getting into a relationship with a drug addict like me.”
Scene shifts to Brar mansion, Angad-Sahiba’s room
Angad recognizing Sahiba’s worries keeps his hands onto hers and tries assuring her saying, “Sahiba, I completely understand your apprehensions for your sister, Sahiba; but trust me, my brother Veer is a really nice guy, he will surely keep your sister, Keerat happy.”
Scene shifts to Public Park
Keerat was deeply moved by Veer’s words such that her initial prejudice towards him being an egoistic shithead gradually melted into thin air and developed into genuine respect and admiration for his considerate thoughtfulness. She gets thinking in her mind, “Seeing your egoistic side, I felt that you were a very insensitive human being but now after seeing your emotional side, I feel that I was too quick to judge you.”
Scene shifts to Brar mansion, Angad-Sahiba’s room
Angad continues to Sahiba, “But if by any chance my words go wrong then I promise you I will prioritize your sister Keerat over my brother Veer.” Sahiba was touched by Angad’s words that she unconsciously gets gazing into the depth of love in his eyes. Angad stirred by Sahiba’s tender glances leans forward towards her lips; Sahiba closes her eyes letting Angad take his advances but just as their lips were about to meet; Manbeer calls her out from outside saying, “Sahiba, I have a terrible headache, can you please prepare your special coffee for me?” Sahiba quickly gets up blushingly from her embarrassing position and runs outside saying, “Haa aayi Mummyji”. Angad smiles.
Scene shifts to Public Park
Veer continues to Keerat, “At the same time, I can’t reveal my truth to my family members. Daarji and Bebe have so much of pride on the values they have imparted to their children and grandchildren that they can never believe that one of their grandsons went astray into the world of drugs.” Keerat, “If you know you are digging your own grave then why didn’t you try to come out of it?” Veer, “Do you think I wouldn’t have tried? Everytime I tried giving up drugs my body reiterated towards them even more forcefully such that I couldn’t cope with it.” Keerat, “Then why don’t you seek help from a specialist?” Veer, “That could possibly lead my truth to be exposed infront of the media. If the media gets even a small hint of my truth then they will not spare me or my family!!” Keerat, “In that case, how do you think, we can stop the marriage without revealing your truth to anyone?” Veer, “Can’t you say a NO to your family?” Keerat, “Do you really believe I wouldn’t have done that? In fact my very first response to your proposal was a NO but my family members are so carried away with your family name and background thereby they assume that I can’t get a better proposal than this.” Veer, “So what shall we do now? How can we stop our marriage without hurting our families?” Keerat pauses to reflect for a moment and finally comes up with an idea saying, “There’s one way out!!” Veer, “What” Keerat, “The idea of our marriage came from our family so we have to do something which will make them reconsider their decision.” Veer, “Like what?” Keerat, “Like you have to disappoint my parents while I have to disappoint yours in such a way that they drop the idea of getting us married.” Veer becomes overjoyed after hearing Keerat’s idea that he inadvertently hugs her exclaiming “Oh that’s a brilliant idea!!” On the other hand, Keerat, who would punch anyone, who dared to touch her stayed motionless. Somewhere, deep within herself, Keerat felt satisfied on Veer’s warm bosom. (Teri Meri Doriyaann female version plays) However, within a short spell Veer realized the awkwardness of his position and withdraws himself apologizing “Sorry it’s just that I got a little overwhelmed on hearing your…” Keerat quickly changes the topic saying “So are you in with #missioncancelveeratmarriage (i.e # mission cancel veerat marriage)? Veer, “Hein?” Keerat, “Arre, Veerat that is you and me, Veer + Keerat. So will you join in the mission of canceling our marriage?” Veer, “We are not even engaged and you already found us a couple name?” Keerat, “What if we are not engaged, don’t we both have the same goal so what’s wrong in giving a couple name? Plus, it’s quite common in social media nowadays, you would know it better.” Veer shakes his head in disbelief. Keerat forwards her hand saying, “So will you be my partner in #missioncancelveeratmarriage?” Veer shakes hand with her saying, “Yes I am in for #missioncancelveeratmarriage.” The duo felt positive on teaming up with each other on a common goal completely unaware of the plan which was unfolding in the mind of the person who was filming them.
As time went by, the Brars and the Mongas went ahead with fixing Veer and Keerat’s Roka which was to be held in a few weeks; while Veer and Keerat often met together without letting their families know inorder to make plans on how to discourage their parents in going forward with their marriage. Finally, they finalize their plans and set forth in their mission.
Plan #1 Veer goes to Keerat’s house in the night drenched in alcohol to prove that he is an alcoholic to Ajit and Santhosh but to his surprise Ajit and Santhosh take it lightly and laugh it off impressed with Veer’s honesty to reveal the truth. Ajit secretly tells Veer, “Puttar, mein bhi kabhi kabhi ek do peg maar leta hu lekin Santhosh ke jaan ne ke bina, tum bhi maar lena.” He walks away patting Veer’s cheek. Veer stares disappointedly. On the other hand, Keerat goes to Brar Mansion and meets Gurleen in the kitchen where she tries to show off that she has no knowledge on cooking. However, Gurleen was completely cool about it saying, “No problem Keerat puttar, you leave the Kitchen to me. I will handle everything and also teach you to prepare some of Veer’s favorite dishes.” Keerat was dismayed. #missioncancelveeratmarriage Plan #1 FAIL.
Plan #2 Keerat with Gurleen and Jaspal in Brar mansion informs them that she hates to clothe in Indian outfits like salwar kameez and sarees. Therefore, she will be only wearing jeans pant and shirt even after marriage. Gurleen and Jaspal give a gawked expression which elevates Keerat’s spirit thinking her plan worked, however she gets a blow when Jaspal tells her, “Arre koi nahi puttar, wear whatever you want, we have no issues, anyways girls of your age wear the clothes of their choice and not their family’s choice.” Keerat was stunned. Veer on the other hand shares with Ajit and Santhosh that he hates Keerat’s dressing sense and would like to see her in short revealing clothes after marriage. Ajit and Santhosh stare at him with a wide gaze which cheers him up, however his happiness doesn’t last long when they giggle upon it. Santhosh laughingly “Har mard chahta hain ki woh apni ko aise kapdo mein dekhe” Ajit comes forward and whispers in his ears, “Just convince Keerat lovingly in your bedroom, she will surely agree.” Veer feels embarrassed. #missioncancelveeratmarriage Plan #2 FAIL.
Plan #3 Veer in Monga House reveals to Ajit and Santhosh that since he is a renowned musician, he often attends late night parties with his fans who are mostly women. Santhosh gives a furious expression asking “Parties?” Veer shakes his head in agreement; Ajit “Late night”, Veer again shakes his head, Santhosh “With other women?” Veer once again shakes his head in his urging excitement however Santhosh brushes it off saying “Of course it is a part of your job but I’m sure that once my Keerat comes into your life, you will never want to party with another woman other than her.” Ajit agrees with his wife. Veer stared at them in disbelief. Keerat in Brar mansion, “Uncle, Aunty you both love babies right? Jaspal, “Yes puttar, we really miss Veer and Ekam’s childhood days.” Keerat, “So you both would want to play with your grandchild in the near future right?” Gurleen, “Yes puttar, we both are waiting to see the face of our grandchild.” Keerat “Unfortunately Aunty, Uncle your wish will not be fulfilled.” Jaspal and Gurleen were taken aback, “Why puttar can’t you conceive?” Keerat, “No no Aunty, it’s just that right now I want to focus on my studies and career and do not want to have babies in the next two or three years.” Jaspal and Gurleen get reflective for a moment and then smile. Keerat was surprised. Gurleen, “It’s completely alright puttar, you can plan your family anytime you want after all it’s your personal matter. We have no issues and can wait for another two or three years to play with our grandchildren.” Keerat was chagrined. #missioncancelveeratmarriage Plan #3 FAIL.
As the days go by, Veer and Keerat continue to execute several plans to cancel their marriage however their every plan ends up in failure and in a little while arrives their day of Roka.
A day before Veer and Keerat’s Roka
Veer and Keerat are dishearteningly seated with their fists onto their chins on a bench of the public park where they had shaken hands to cancel their marriage. Keerat sadly asks, “Why are your parents so caring?” Veer counter asks, “Why are your parents so understanding?” Keerat continues, “What shall we do now? Tomorrow is our Roka and it will be very difficult to cancel our marriage after that.” Veer, “There’s only one way out.” Keerat, “What?” Veer, “I will have to reveal my truth to your parents before our Roka.” Keerat stared speechlessly.
A day later, Brar Mansion, Veer and Keerat’s Roka ceremony
Everyone was busy with the Roka arrangements while Veer was walking relentlessly in his room dressed handsomely in a sky blue suit for his Roka ceremony, he ponders, “I have been trying to contact Ajit Uncle and Santhosh Aunty since yesterday but they are too busy with the Roka arrangements that they are not even responding.” In no time, he hears voices from below of his family welcoming the Mongas. He goes to see them from his doorstep above and was mesmerized to see Keerat in a sky blue sharara which twinned with his costume. (O kudi plays) However his thoughts are shortly interrupted by Ekam and Prince who come there and notice him staring at Keerat. Ekam teases him saying, “Paaji, you can stare at her as much as you want after all she is your would-be.” They giggle. Veer asks, “Why have you both come here?” Prince, “Paaji, it’s your Roka so Daarji and Bebe are calling you downstairs. Come.” Veer’s heart beats faster in anxiety. He comes down and gives a crestfallen expression to Keerat while on the other hand, Santhosh was constantly getting a call from an unknown number. Akaal on noticing Veer asks Ajit and Santhosh, “Look Veer has come so shall we start with the Roka ceremony as it is already the muhurat time.” Ajit and Santhosh give their nod. Veer and Keerat sit on the seats onstage. Veer trembled in unease when Keerat tries pacifying him by catching his hand. Santhosh getting irritated with the constant calls excuses herself to attend the call while instructing others to go forward with the ritual. Bebe asks Gurleen to drape the chunri on Keerat. Gurleen brings the chunri and is about to drape it on Keerat’s head when Santhosh comes there and shouts, “Wait!! This marriage cannot happen!!” All were shocked to hear that.

To be continued.
I am not trying to justify the drug abuse of Veer or his character in the show. The Veer character in this story is quite different. Many of the drug addicts are those who fall into the world of drugs because of emotional distress and I wanted to portray the same through Veer in my story. Not all drug abusers are completely wrong.
Great.❤️❤️
I am Loving your version of Veerat 😁😁
Can't wait for the next part!

Episode 5 (Feeling Betrayed)
The episode starts with everyone standing shocked on hearing Santhosh’s announcement. Jabyot enquires her, “What happened Santhosh ji? What are you stopping the Roka?” Santhosh tells her, “What happened? I think you should ask this question to your grandson, Veer!” Everyone looks towards Veer. Veer stood silent without making out what was happening.” Akaal, “Santhosh ji, I think even Veer doesn’t know what you are talking about, please explain to us what you want to say.” Santhosh goes towards Veer and tells everyone, “Akaal ji, Jabyot ji your grandson Veer is a drug addict!” All were thunderstruck to hear that. The invited guests mumble among themselves while the media films the entire happenings. Sahiba looked towards Angad who gave an equally confused expression like others. Jabyot comes towards Santhosh and tells her, “No no, Santhosh ji, I think you have a misunderstanding. Our Veer is the most kindest and diligent among all my grandchildren. He can’t be a drug addict.” Gurleen affirms, “Yes Santhosh ji, my Veer can’t be a drug addict.” Santhosh, “Jabyot ji, Gurleen ji, I have proofs to confirm the truth”, Santhosh opens her phone gallery, plays a video saved in the gallery and shows it to everyone. It was the video of Veer revealing his truth to Keerat, however Keerat is not shown in the video. Everyone was floored seeing Veer’s confession in the video. Santhosh continues, “Now why is your Veer speechless? Ask him to reveal infront of everyone that this video is fake and I’m wrong.” Jabyot goes towards Veer and tells him, “Veer puttar, tell Santhosh ji that she has a misunderstanding, that all this is someone’s evil ploy against you. Tell her that you are not a drug user.” Veer embarrassingly looks away without being able to meet Jabyot’s eyes. Jabyot and the Brars were astonished at his silence. Santhosh “Khamoshi da samjhota Jabyot ji, your grandson’s silence proves that I’m right. Now tell me how can I let my daughter marry a drug addict? Gurleen ji, you too have a daughter right? Tell me, will you ever let your Ekam marry a drug abuser like your son?” Gurleen’s eyes filled with tears, avoids eye contact with Santhosh, unable to digest the truth of her son. Angad comes forward and slaps Veer. All get astonished, while Angad continues to Veer, “We never expected this from you Veer. Now I’m ashamed to call you my brother. Having said that, I can never let Keerat’s life get ruined by binding her in a relationship with you!” Veer doesn’t retaliate or respond to any of the repercussions hurled against him. Keerat feeling bad for Veer comes forward and tries to pacify Santhosh saying, “Mummy, mummy please shant ho jayiye!” Santhosh shouts at her asking, “Kya shant hona hai Keerat? This is a matter of your life! Akaal ji and Jabyot ji had promised us that they will ensure you a good living in their family and this is how they keep their promise? By getting you married to their drug abuser grandson?” Veer dejected with those words, tries to justify his family explaining, “Aunty I know you are disappointed after learning my truth, but trust me, my family knew nothing about my drug abuse. Please don’t insult them.” Santhosh continues, “Fine, your family didn’t know your truth, but what about you? Why did you even agree for this marriage when you knew my daughter’s life will be ruined by marrying a drug abuser like you?” Veer looks towards Keerat, both remember the instance where Veer had revealed his truth. Keerat is about to disclose that she was already aware of Veer’s truth but before that Santhosh shows her hand silencing her.” Santhosh then turns towards Akaal, Jabyot and joins her hands saying, “Akaal ji, Santhosh ji, we feel grateful that you bought your grandson’s proposal for our daughter; but I’m sorry to say that our daughter is not a burden for us that we will marry her off to a drug abuser like your grandson. Our daughter is our pride and we will not let our pride be broken.” Ajit comes towards Sathosh joins his hands and says, “I agree with my wife Akaal ji, Jabyot ji” Within a second, Santhosh catches Keerat’s hand and takes her away with her, Ajit follows. Keerat while taken away kept gazing apologetically at a completely hurt Veer; the latter reciprocated with a sad gaze. In a short while, the guests too leave badmouthing the Brar family. The media encircles the Brars flooding them with questions about drugs peddling, drugs abuse and drugs mafia. Angad, Inder and Hansraj try to handle the media and send them out of the Brar mansion instructing them that this is a family matter although the media constantly tried to collect information from them. When the Brars were left alone, Jabyot cries saying, “Today we wanted to celebrate our grandson’s engagement and look, what has happened? Where did we go wrong Akaal ji that our grandson turned into a drug addict?” On saying that Jabyot collapses and falls. All the Brars run towards her, however as Veer approaches, Akaal signs him not to come near Jabyot. Veer stops himself. The other Brar family members take Jabyot to her room, while Angad calls the doctor. Veer looks on sorrowfully while his family disregards him completely.
Monga House
Santhosh still holding onto Keerat’s hand brings her inside. Sukhi comes there and asks, “What happened why are you all looking so tensed? Santhosh furiously says, “We broke Veer and Keerat’s engagement!” Sukhi was stunned and asks them, “Broke the engagement? But why?” Ajit, “Beeji, the Brars son, Veer turned out to be a drug addict.” Sukhi was taken aback. Santhosh continues furiously, “Can’t believe the Brars were so careless about their grandson even though they are such a huge family. That boy didn’t leave even a trace of his truth to come out in front of his family.” Keerat, “Mummy, he was just trying to protect his family, nothing else.” Santhosh, “How do you know that?” Keerat, “Because he had already revealed his truth to me.” The Mongas’ eyes bugged out on hearing that. Santhosh, “What? You already knew the truth then why didn’t you inform any of us?” Keerat, “Mummy, because Veer did not want his truth to come out in front of his family because he felt his family would not be able to handle his truth and what was wrong in that?” Santhosh, “What was wrong in that? He was so concerned about his family but what about you? He was ready to risk your life?” Keerat, “No Mummy, you are misunderstanding him. If he wanted to jeopardize with my life then he wouldn’t have told me his truth at the first place.” Santhosh snapped at her saying, “Chup kar! Enough of taking his side. You are not going to get married to him anymore so I don’t want you to keep any relationship with him from now onwards. Understood?” Keerat felt a piercing pain in her heart which she couldn’t make out. All these days, she only wanted to break her relationship with Veer but now when her relationship had really ended, she was unable to understand why she felt really low about it. She wondered anxiously, “What must be going on with Veer now?”
Brar Mansion, Akaal and Jabyot’s room
The doctor examines Jabyot and informs the Brars, “Her blood pressure shot up all of a sudden which is why she collapsed. Did she see or hear anything unpleasant today?” The Brars stood silent giving angry glares at Veer. The doctor continues, “I will prescribe some medicines which will keep her blood pressure stable but you have to ensure that she doesn’t undergo any more stressful situations once again.” The family gives their nod. The doctor leaves. After the doctor leaves, Veer filled with remorse and guilt tries to approach Jabyot. However, Angad stops him saying, “You have already given her a huge blow today. Don’t make things more difficult for all of us.” Veer half-heartedly agrees. Akaal tells everyone that he is there with Jabyot, so the others should leave and take rest. Sahiba expresses that she would like to stay with Daarji and Bebe tonight, just in case they need any help. Akaal agrees. The other family members gradually leave with only Veer left behind. Akaal instructs him that he too should go and take rest. Veer leaves with a heavy heart. As he walks towards his room, he comes near Gurleen and Jaspal’s room and hears voices. Gurleen weeping bitterly inside, “Jaspal ji, Veer was the apple of my eye, I never thought that our son will turn into a drug addict!” She hugs Jaspal and sobs uncontrollably on saying that. Veer feeling regretful tries to go inside and console his mother however Jaspal shouts at him, “Halt right there!” Veer stops at their doorstep. Jaspal comes near Veer and is about to close the door when Veer pleads with him, “Papa aap ek baar mere baat toh sunn lo.” Jaspal tells him, “We do not want to hear anything from you. Our son is dead for us!!” on saying that Jaspal shuts the door onto Veer’s face. Tears roll down Veer’s cheeks and he staggers towards his room.
Downstairs, In the Kitchen
Sahiba comes to take a jug of water for Daarji and Bebe when Angad catches her, stops her from crying out and pushes her onto the refrigerator facing him. Sahiba asks in a soft voice, “Angad tum? Why have you brought me here?” Angad, “Because upstairs the situation is so tense with everyone shaken by the sudden turn of events today that I can hardly talk with you in front of them.” Sahiba, “You want to say something? What is it?” Angad bends down his head in front of Sahiba and says, “I’m really sorry for whatever happened today. I swear I had no idea about Veer…” Sahiba stops him by placing her finger on his lips saying, “Relax Angad! I know that you had no idea about Veer’s involvement into drugs, I trust you. Moreover, I was delighted seeing how you kept your promise today.” Angad gives a questioning expression. Sahiba, “I was happy on seeing how you prioritized my sister Keerat over your brother Veer and that elevated my admiration for you.” Angad gave Sahiba a fond look and slowly inches closer towards her lips. Sahiba immediately keeps her hand on his lips, kisses on it and goes away blushingly. Angad smirks at her from behind.
Veer’s room
Veer is seated on the bed, dishearteningly recollecting the events of that day. He remembers how Santhosh exposed his truth to everyone by playing the video of his confession to Keerat. He reflects, “I trusted you, Miss. Pehalwan and you betrayed me? How could you do this to me?”
Monga House
Keerat is tensed thinking, “I just hope Veer is alright. After all that happened today, I don’t know how the family members would be treating him. I think I should call him once.” She picks up her phone and dials Veer’s number.
Brar Mansion, Veer’s room
Veer sees Keerat’s call, angrily disconnects it and blocks her number.
Monga House
Keerat tries to call Veer several times and realizes that he has blocked her number. She thinks despondently, “No matter how hard you try to ignore me, I will talk to you Veer.”
Next day morning
The Brars were having their breakfast with everyone neglecting Veer when they heard a lot of noises coming from outside. One of their servants comes running there and informs, “Akaal Sahab, our main gate is flooded with media reporters associating our name with drugs mafia.” Everyone turns their heads towards Veer glaring at him. Kiara runs towards the television, switch it on and keeps a news channel which reports about the Brars’ son, Veer’s involvement in drugs. Kiara switches to another channel which accuses the Brars of smuggling drugs along with their diamonds. She again switches the channel which accuses, Veer who is known as the youth icon of Punjab is misleading the youth by inspiring them to use drugs. Kiara keeps switching to various other news channels and every news channel reported and defamed the Brars accusing them of their engagement in the drugs world. Hansraj comes forward, takes the remote from Kiara and switches off the television. Jaspal asks Veer, “Are you happy now? The whole family is suffering because of your mistakes.” Veer puts his head down remaining silent unable to lift his head up out of shame. Akaal shushes Jaspal saying, “It’s not his fault Jaspal, it’s our fault! We trusted in our grandson so much that we never thought that he would choose a wrong path in his life.” Following that, Akaal meekly gets up and leaves. The others follow him leaving Veer alone on the dining table. Veer looks towards the voices coming from the media outside and thinks, “All this is happening because of you, Miss. Pehalwan!”
Monga House
Keerat and the other Mongas were watching the news, tarnishing the image of Veer and the Brars while accusing them of illegal dealing of narcotics. Santhosh says, “What was the point of hiding the truth? Now that guy Veer is suffering while making his family suffer along with him.” Keerat angrily gets up and reproaches Santhosh saying, “He hid it because he did not want to hurt his family and what did you do Mummy? In one go, you destroyed all his efforts to not let his family get hurt.” Santhosh surprised, “Arre, then what should I have done? Let you get married to him?” Ajit, “Puttar, why are you talking to your Mummy ji in this manner? Whatever she did was only for your good.” Keerat, “My good? Mummy got so carried away in the love of her child that she forgot Veer is also someone’s child.” Santhosh with tears in her eyes, “So you mean to say that I was wrong to think about my daughter?” Keerat mellowed down by Santhosh’s tears, draws near Santhosh catches her hand saying, “Mummy come here. Sit here” making Santhosh sit down and herself kneels down infront of her saying, “Mummy I didn’t mean that you were wrong but the way you exposed Veer’s truth made things go haywire. Look how the Brars are facing backlash from the media and the society. Remember Sahiba di is also a part of that family and most of all what about Veer, what all he has to go through? Hatred from his family, black mark on his reputation….” Before Keerat could continue, Santhosh cuts in asking, “Why are you so worried about Veer? Is it that you have started developing…” Keerat, “What are you saying Mummy? I’m concerned for Veer on humanitarian grounds and not because of anything else.” Santhosh heaves a sigh of relief. Ajit bends down and catches Keerat’s shoulder saying, “Puttar, now leave all that. Just think whatever happened, happened for the good. You need not worry about Veer or the Brars. They will take care of their family matters themselves. Moreover, isn’t Sahiba there with them? She will handle everything. Now go to your room and take rest.” Keerat agrees and is about to go to her room when something clicks in her mind. She turns towards Santhosh and demands, “Mummy how did you get Veer’s confession video?” Santhosh recollects of receiving an anonymous call before Veer and Keerat’s Roka ceremony, the previous day. Flashback, Santhosh receives the call and rebukes the person saying, “Arre kyun baar baar call kiye jaa rahe ho. Meri beti ki Roka chal raha hai aur aap baar baar call kiye jaa rahe hai. Kya gal hai?” The person on the other side informs her, “Stop the Roka right now or your daughter’s future will be ruined.” Santhosh bewildered asks her, “What are you saying?” The person replies, “Your daughter’s fiancé Veer Singh Brar is a drug addict.” Santhosh was horrified to hear that. The person continues, “I’m sending you a video just watch it and decide what you want to do.” Santhosh was appalled after watching the video and runs to stop the Roka. Flashback ends. Santhosh shares that she doesn’t know who exactly was the anonymous caller however she could make out it was a woman. Keerat gets thinking, “I’m sure Veer assumes that I’m responsible for leaking his confession video. I have to find out who is that person and what was her reason for taking such a drastic step.”
As the days went on, the Brars were constantly humiliated infront of the society regarding Veer’s involvement into drugs which makes Veer more remorseful feeling burdened by the responsibility of letting his family suffer. To make matters worse, Veer gets banned from the Punjabi music association because of his connection with drugs which brings a great downfall on Veer’s image and career. The Punjabi youth mock and burn Veer’s idol on the road showing their hatred to their once idol Veer. Veer unable to cope up with all the hatred and defamation, succumbs completely to drugs. On the other hand, Keerat tries several means to contact Veer, however the latter shuns all doors towards Keerat. Keerat doesn’t give up and finally comes up with an idea to meet Veer.
A few days later
Veer receives a call where the person informs him, “Sir we are calling from Punjab’s woman’s wrestling association. We would like you to sing a promotional song for the upcoming wrestling event.” Veer was surprised and asks, “You want me to sing your promotional song even after knowing about all the scams and controversies I’m involved in?” The person on phone, “Sir we do not care about all that, we just care about your voice.” Veer although skeptical asks, “Are you sure you want me to sing?” The person on phone, “Yes sir we are hundred percent sure.” Veer gives in, “I will sing for your event.” The person delightfully informs him to come to the Punjab’s women’s wrestler association the following day at 10 am. Veer accepts.
Next day, Punjab’s women’s wrestling association
Veer comes there at 10 AM and was startled to find no-one there. He gets thinking, “That man had asked me to come to this address then why is this place empty with no-one around? He is about to return but as he turns, he faces Keerat standing face-to-face with him. Veer gets enraged on seeing her however tries to leave disregarding her, when she informs him, “I was the one who asked that man to call you and make you come here.” Veer fumes on hearing that and asks her, “Wasn’t all that you had done to me enough? That you are trying to hurt me even more?” Keerat, “That is what I’m trying to explain to you all these days. I wasn’t the one who leaked your video. She shows him the video and tries to clarify things to him, when he takes her phone and tells her, “I don’t want to listen to anything and why should I even listen to you, there’s nothing left between us!!” He turns to go when she announces to him, “Fine then I challenge you to fight a wrestling match with me. If you win then I will never bother you again and if I win then you have to listen to my part of the story.” Veer, “What rubbish? I don’t want to fight any wrestling match.” He turns around again to leave when Keerat recalls their first encounter during Sahan’s marriage, remembers something and shouts out, “Are you scared of losing to a woman?” Veer stops himself clenches his fists hearing that. Keerat smiles seeing her plan working and thinks, “I know this much about you that you won’t let your ego get hurt, EGOISTIC SHITHEAD!!” Veer turns towards Keerat, comes near her, stands face to face and tells her, “Fine!! Challenge accepted!!” Keerat smirks.

Episode 6 (Drowned in Sorrows)
The episode starts with Veer and Keerat standing face to face in the wrestling ring. Keerat says 3…2…1 let the match begin. Veer and Keerat start wrestling. As the wrestle continues, both try to tackle each other and overpower the other. A strenuous fight ensues with Veer almost overpowering Keerat, when the latter winks at him, recalling how he lost control in their arm wrestle during Sahan’s marriage. Subsequently, Veer loses control and Keerat starts overpowering him. As the match progresses, Keerat pushes Veer throwing him to the ground and pins his shoulder to the mat by climbing onto him. Keerat while forcefully pinning Veer to the ground, roars at him, “I win so you have no other go than to listen to what I have to say. Now listen carefully, I know you consider me responsible for all the mess which happened to you in the last few days so it’ s my duty to clear all your misunderstanding!!” Following that, Keerat pulls Veer up, makes him stand on his feet and goes to take out her phone from her bag. She shows him his confession video and tells him, “Just look at the angle at which this video is taken and see that it is not filmed from my angle. It is filmed from an angle away from where we both are standing which proves that the video was not taken by me. Understood?” Veer stood motionless without responding to any of Keerat’s justifications because deep inside he did not care about who leaked the video, the only thing he cared about was his family’s struggle and pain, incurred upon them by him. Keerat looked into his sorrow filled eyes oppressed with the overdosage of drugs such that within a minute, she grasped the depth of his feelings and felt sympathetic for his emotional chaos. She catches Veer’s arms and says, “I understand the emotional struggle you are facing, Veer, after all that happened with you in the past few days. Release your emotions and unburden yourself otherwise you will never be able to overcome them.” Veer falls unto the ground crying loudly. Keerat was stunned to see that. Veer weeps uncontrollably, “Why? Why? Why me? What enmity did that person have with me? That he snatched my life, my family, my career, my dreams everything which meant the world to me! My whole family is humiliated in front of the society; my Daarji and Bebe are heartbroken; my Mummy and Papa are inconsolable and my siblings are ashamed to have a brother like me…” he gasps to take a breath and continues, “All this is happening because of that video. I want to mend everything and bring them all back to normal but how can I do that. I want to bring back the smile on the faces of Daarji, Bebe, Mummy, Papa and Angad paaji but how can I do all that? I have lost everything…I have lost everything!” He continues to wail loudly in despair. Keerat was deeply moved by his plight such that her eyes filled with tears. She squats beside him, places her hand on the other side of his face and gently pulls his head towards her, placing it cautiously onto her right shoulder. Veer continues to cry out in anguish by catching Keerat’s right arm. (Teri Meri Doriyaann dramatic tune plays) Keerat tenderly caresses Veer’s head saying, “Look Veer I can’t reduce your pain but I can ensure you that I will find the person who is behind all this!” Veer calmly lifts his head up and looks fondly into Keerat’s eyes. She reciprocates. At that moment, even though there was no communication of words between the two, there was an ocean of emotions which the two conveyed through their eyes with their heartbeats racing (Teri Meri Doriyaann duet version plays). Keerat quickly breaks the eye contact getting up and says, “No matter whatever it takes, I will surely bring that person infront of you.” Veer’s thoughts were sparked on hearing that.
As the days went by, Keerat worked rigorously to find the culprit behind the scam while Veer waited patiently because somewhere deep within in his heart, he started trusting Keerat and felt that she would give him justice. Moreover, he also felt lighter after letting out his pain to Keerat and whole-heartedly felt grateful towards her. Both of them were gradually getting pulled towards each other.
A week later, Keerat calls Veer to Punjab’s women’s wrestling arena once again. Veer was confused and ponders why she called him there; however he goes there as instructed. When he enters the place, it was once again empty like the other day when he had first come there. Shortly, Veer notices Keerat and asks her, “Have you called me here to wrestle with you once more?” Keerat tells him, “I called you here not to wrestle with me but to wrestle with someone else.” Veer enquires, “Who?” Keerat calls out someone. Veer was astonished to see Sasha there. He asks Keerat, “Why have you brought Sasha here?” Keerat explains, “Didn’t I tell you that I will surely find the person who leaked your confession video. So here she is!! Your friend Sasha is the culprit who destroyed your life, career, family and your dreams.” Veer was shaken off his ground on hearing that. He never expected that his friend whom he trusted so much would commit such a heinous crime against him. He exclaims, “What?” Keerat continues, “Yes Veer, Sasha was the one who filmed our conversation and sent it to my mother.” Veer was shell-shocked. He goes forward, catches Sasha’s shoulder, shakes her violently asking, “I considered you my friend and you did this to me? What wrong had I done to you? Tell me Sasha why did you do this me?” Sasha shouts, “Because I love you Veer!!” Both Veer and Keerat were taken aback. Keerat felt a burning sensation in her heart unable to comprehend exactly what she felt. She clenches her fist hard, comes forward and pushes Sasha making the latter fall. Keerat asks her, “So this is what you do to someone whom you love? Snatch everything from him?” Sasha gets infuriated at Keerat, gets up and comes forward to slap her asking, “How dare you push me?” But before she could place her blow on Keerat, Veer catches her hand stopping her from hurting Keerat. Both Sasha and Keerat were bewildered. Veer warns Sasha, “Don’t dare to touch Keerat, Sasha!” He throws her hand away angrily. Sasha still unable to come in terms with Veer’s action towards her, laughs loudly. Both Veer and Keerat were perplexed. Sasha claps her hands saying, “Whatever I had feared for has happened.” Veer and Keerat give a quizzical expression. Sasha continues narrating the turn of events. Flashback, “That day when I was passing through the park, I heard your both conversation and was shocked to realize that your families had decided to get you both married. I didn’t want to lose you, Veer so I captured your confession in order to create misunderstandings between you both. But later, I was elated to see you both planning to cancel your marriage and decided not to leak your video. However, a few days later, I was stunned to see the news of your engagement the following day. I couldn’t believe that I was going to let go of you forever so I leaked your confession video to her mother so that she cancels the engagement.” Both Veer and Keerat were stunned to hear that. Veer demands her, “How could you do that to me, Sasha? Your selfish act didn’t just break me but it broke my entire family’s emotions. How could you do that to your friend?” Keerat tells him, “She is not your friend Veer!! If she was then she would have never led you into the world of drugs.” Veer continues to Sasha, “If you had such insecurity in your mind then you should have approached me. I would have cleared all your doubts.” Sasha asks him, “Oh really Veer? Do you really think, you would have done that?” Veer was baffled and asks her, “What do you mean Sasha?” Sasha comes closer to him and whispers without letting Keerat hear her, “Accept it or not Veer, you are getting drawn to that girl.” For a moment, Veer was flustered. He stared at Sasha in disbelief and shouts at her, “Stop your nonsense right now and leave from here for I’m breaking all ties with you. You are no longer my friend, Sasha!!” Sasha furiously demands him, “You are throwing me out of your life for her? For this girl? How can you be so ungrateful, Veer? Remember when you were depressed and struggling to make your mark in the music industry. I was the one who stood by your side and helped you to climb up the ladder.” Keerat growls at her saying, “That doesn’t mean you hold the rights to destroy him!! Arre, your heinous crime broke him completely leaving him nowhere to turn for help. You should feel grateful to him that he isn’t putting you behind the bars for all that you did to him. Now leave from here or else I will beat you in such a way that you will never dare to show your face to anyone the rest of your life” Having said that, Keerat catches Sasha’s arm and drags her to throw her out. The latter resists shouting, “No you can’t do this to me Veer, I love you, I really love you…” Veer stood speechless while Keerat takes Sasha to the exit door and throws her out.” When Keerat comes back, she sees Veer seated on the ground, heartbroken in tears. She inches close to him and keeps her hand consolingly onto his shoulder saying, “Let it go Veer, that girl did not deserve your friendship.” Veer instantly places his head onto her hand saying, “I want to come out of everything…I want to come out of drugs.” Keerat was dumbfounded.
